I have been banned from the Backroom more times than I care to admit, generally for rather contraversial views mixed with an inability to play well with others. The last one was for well over a year, and there won't be another. It is nothing to be proud of or to brag about, as it highlights immaturity more than "rebel" status.

I find it much more challenging to attempt to make every post respectful, well thought out, and actually contribute meaningful content to the discussion. Even after such a long ban, it is difficult not to fall into old patterns, but the rewards are more worthwhile than getting the last word in a flame war before the thread is closed.
