Okay, after having waited for the last minute to grab the latest news about who's out or not, here is my prediction table.

You may think I'm odd but I've spent 4 hours on the following table, checking every other player the teams have, taking looks at the statistics they bear and so on.

So, ladies and gentlemen, hereby I shall present you the prediction table of the renowned footy god LEN.

I had to make predictions on scores of every other match in the group stages so as to be able to figure out who'll make out as the 1st or 2nd and/or who'll be left out as the 3rd where points, or even the goal differences against each other, are equal. I can give out scores if you'd like to or should I save it for the other WC thread ?

I have forgot my notebook at the office so I can't sum up the scores I have predicted right now nor tomorrow. If you can wait till Monday for it, then I can join in. If not, you can count me out; I have done this prediction table as a continuation of my habit not for the game specifically.

I don't really have a problem with waiting til Monday for the tiebreaks. Your group placement selections are different enough from everyone else where it probably won't matter anyway.

Grafite isn't even on the starting 11 and I'm picking him for the Golden Boot, shows how well I follow international football. Meh.

Better scoring in the second round of games, we are now at 2.16 goals per game, up from 1.56 from the first set of games. I'll post the updated bracket scores after the final games on Friday.

I have to say that I don't agree with this; they may have been drubbed 7-0, but they have scored a goal and gave Brazil a very good game; they're also in a very tough group where they're unhighly likely to come out with anything at all. On the other hand, Honduras haven't gotten off the mark yet with points or goals yet, haven't looked likely to either; the scorelines of both games have flattered them, because Spain and Chile both should have scored alot more than they did. They're in a fairly open group in my opinion; you'd expect Spain to top it, but beyond that, the other three teams are on relatively equal footing compared to the Group of Death.

Just my own opinion, though.

I'm just going by group points, then goal diff, then goals scored. And anything can happen in the final set of games. I seriously doubt this contest will be decided at Wooden Spoon.
