I'm honestly not sure. For all I know, my tastes have simply changed -- prior to the one I had last summer, I think it had been a good 9-10 years since I'd previously had a roast beef & cheddar.

All I know for certain is that the sandwich literally tasted like vomit. Gah.

Now *that* is definitely nasty. Using food that far past the expiration date (especially any kind of meat or fresh produce) is just so wrong on so many levels.

Pity. You'd probably like Jimmy Johns. Aside from their always using fresh ingredients, their sandwiches are actually pretty tasty (and they don't take long to make).
