Congrats to Turkey, fantastic of them to come back not just from 2-0 down today but from losing their opener, quarter final well deserved. Also nice for the Swiss to get something but always a little annoying for teams who are already through to play their reserves; I guess it would have been more annoying if the game had meant anything but I really feel it's not a good omen to be losing a game in the group stages. Even if it's meaningless I kind of expect tournament winners to have a mentality which would make them not willing to lose any games at all.

Off the top of my head I would say Germany, German and Germany. Pick any major tournament of the last thirty years. Okay, they didn't go on to win most tournaments, but they would do very well toward the end.
Well they always start slowly and pick up in the knockout stage, but it's been ages since they won anything. And let's face it, they are something of an anomaly in their ability never to get demoralized; be typical if they reach the final now after being so decisively destroyed by Croatia.
