The too long, too short and too common list is part of the SQL server (out of reach). This word is not short really, nor long and I doubt it's a common word (I can't be accused of being a linguist though).

There's no information here about it being common.

Influence* returns 75 results, frogbeasteggs Eleanor being the first hit. This includes Influence and its plural.

King returns 100 results.

I can't lay my finger on this one yet, do you have more examples Omanes Alexandrapolites?

I don't quite remember what exactly I searched for when I first got the message. Although a couple of random searches I've just done resulted in the same message.

I searched for "bug" and "changes" in the Watchtower and then performed these searches in two other random forums (R:TW Guides and the Entrance Hall) as well as a total forum search. The error message was received each time. The words "performance" and "hello", two other random searches, behave the same as well.

I think, at a guess, the problem may be affiliated to words which appear more than a certain number of times in posts indexed by the system. Indeed the other words I searched for, which aren't quite so common, "Taiwan", "French" and "Fries", turned up a full set of results. On the other hand, a search for "Cheesecake" though, another random search, provides the error message. Considering that it isn't/shouldn't be a very frequently used word, it shouldn't really do that if the theory is correct. I remember mentioning the word in both of the three word story threads though, which could be attributed to it receiving the same classification.

Probably just rambling there, but hope it's useful

Another little thing I've just noticed is the way the the area which states you have private messages/new notifications behave now. When the user has a private message, as well as the classical flashing mail icon, the "Your Notifications" text turns red and starts flashing, and the background turns green. For me it's a little intrusive on the eyes, and I much preferred the old system with just the flashing mail icon.

Sword Dojo is also missing a couple of icons still. The button on the "Go to post" button in the quote box, and the throbber which appears when editing a post.

Hello,

Large part of the upgrade is ready. Now it's just cosmetics and adding functionality of some hacks.

You'll notice many, many things missing. Do not worry, all is still here. It's sometimes just a matter of tweaking the templates to bring it back. Sometimes a small coding is required.

The warning system is gone I think, vbul has something similar now.

It's 3.39 AM and I'll get a little nap first.

It's this icon which appears next to a post to show the editing process in The Guild skin and Default. I haven't checked any of the other skins though. Throbber probably isn't the correct word for it, so sorry if I've caused any confusion.

Some as of yet unresolved issues I mentioned in this thread:

- Unread messages displayed as Uleste (Swedish) even though skin The Guild and Language English (UK) is used.
- Would be great if redirect could be faster. Currently waits about 6-7 seconds before redirecting, thus preventing you from using that tab/window to open another page/site due to redirect taking priority. About 2-3 seconds would be preferrable or even no feedback page and just immediate reload of the current page with actions performed.
- Imageshack upload box in advanced post/edit options

It's on the todo list, together with spellcheck and various other things, such as the Wiki.

Oh ok, wasn't aware such a switch didn't exist. Some other fora seem to have shorter redirect times so I thought there was a setting for that.
Is it possible to get rid of the redirect screen though and just reload the page instead? I think its possible to change the message of the redirect screen at least

The redirection probably means your request is received and being processed. There is an option to remove redirections, maybe that makes a difference, it may also be confusing.

Thanks for the change to the re-direct Tosa. Things are much faster now

A small issue I've just detected, the flashing PM icon (), if its clicked on, goes to "www.yoursite.com/board/private.php?". It should direct to "forums.totalwar.org/vb/private.php" rather than what its set to at the moment.

Word break: Something odd there. It automatically inserts spaces in very long words now. Example:
