That's bull it's all about attitude. Friend of me is one ugly and he scores one hottie after another.

Attitude is important yes, I know both ends of the spectrum, decent looking guys with prospects etc who couldn't score in a whore-house because their attitudes are all wrong and at least one ugly guy who always takes home a decent or better lass just because his personality and attitude is right. So yes, you're right that an attitude/personality can overcome a lack of looks, but I'd say that is the exception not the rule.
