My body will burn in an oven, and my ashes will either be buried or spread somewhere nice.

That is if my loved ones get my body, if I get lost and die my body will simply decompose.

Anything beyond that is utterly pointless to consider, if there is anything else(which I highly doubt), I will find out soon enough.

I watched this thing on tv once that said people can be brought back to life if they died in really cold water...

So maybe some scientists could drown themselves in really cold water, have doctors bring them back and then they can tell us what happened...

Bump. What happened to the stars that originally created the heavy elements that make up our bodies, our possessions, our world? They burnt out and exploded, to "live again" as other things, as us, as everything around us. Nothing happens to "us", something happens to the Universe. We like to separate ourselves from everything around us, but in truth we are simply manifestations of the universe, "mud that got the opportunity to sit up and look around". Of course this is all physical and I'm sure your question was more "spiritual" in nature, but simply there is no distinction between the two, mind and body are the same and interdependent. Of course you can make up all sorts of hair-brained schemes though, a few for example:

    - Some say when you die your life flashes before your eyes, replaying every moment. What if it replays at this speed, the speed of a lifespan? Thus, we "live" this life again, and upon death it flashes before us once more, perpetually, for eternity.
    - What if death is merely waking from a dream into a higher conscious, where we live and die again in this cycle, perpetually?
    - What if there is a box, a free space, and a "God" tells you this is yours and you can be and create anything, but you are on your own. And then he warns you of a closet adjoining the room, which houses a button which he warns you "NOT TO TOUCH!" So you plate the walls with gold, fill it with games and gadgets and everything you could eat and drink. Yet, after a while it losses its gloss and appeal, so you go to this closet and you find a button, labelled "surprise". And your curiosity for anything slightly interesting and unpredictable gets the better of you. You press the button and *pop* you end up here, on this planet, cold, terrified, curious, exhilarated and ALIVE!

It is quite exhilarating to know that we are made of star stuff. I like that,

I used to call Mrs. Apache MK I my little neutron star. She thought it was a complement.
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

Rhyfelwyr told me specifically that pr0n is banned in the afterlife - at least in his Calvinist heaven. But since I'm a wicked papist Fenian, I figure I'm going to Hell anyway and I bet they have pr0n.

I heard once that when a Catholic dies he goes to heaven and is met by St Peter and God and show around to his new living area. On one such tour they passed a locked door with a quiet please sign, God was furious and demanded to know who dared give such a order in his heaven.

"Oh thats the Ulster Presbyterians" says Peter "they think they have heaven to themselves"
They slew him with poison afaid to meet him with the steel

The problem is that Catholicism as an institution is built on usurping the rightful position of Christ. Jesus says call no man on earth father, so they call their priest father and Pope holy father. The scripture says that Christ is our one high priest that makes intercession for us yet this is what Catholic priests claim to do.The scripture says Christ was offered up once for sin so they offer him up every Mass. The scripture told we are saved by grace through faith yet the Pope says we have to save ourselves with our works.

It is a full scale attack on the whole of Christianity, placing a man in place of God, in place of Christ, making a mockery of the cross, and shutting up the gates of heaven against men like the pharisees of old. And that is why it is to me tbh blatantly obvious that the Catholic Church is the kingdom of Antichrist.

Now you can make it sound like I just say this because I am a Hun. But the fact is when I was born again I had no idea of Christianty and I just read the scripture straight through and that's the best way to do things. And Banquo might like to make it look like I'm just a typical Scots Presbyterian Calvinist and my beliefs are due to my background, but it isn't so... I am just as critical of modern Protestantism as Catholicism. I broke with typical Prebsyterian views and practices a long time ago. Why... because if it isn't 100% scriptural I don't want it.

The Anti Christ are we still bringing up that voodoo in the 21st century, the idea that there is some malign dark side of the force physically out there is really silly.

BTW I paraphrased the joke from December Bride cannot remember but I think it's set on Lough Neagh some small presbyterian village haven't seen it in years.

When you die, you are buried/turned into ashes, which are eaten/absorbed by bacteria, which are in turn absorbed by plants, then eaten by animals, who are cooked and eaten by humans, whose nutrients create sperm and ova, which then are used to create new life.

When little Portuguese or French peasant girls have divine revelations they see Mary. When a Guadeloupe peasant has a divine revelation, Mary looks ethnically Mexican, just like him. When a Hun has a divine revelation, he becomes a Scot Calvinist.

No, nothing to do with their background. It is divine revelation speaking to them. Mary speaking to them. Individual reading of the Bible speaking to them.

Any yet Louis, I know only a handful of Calvinists through the churches I am involved in, whether mainstream (CofS) or Evangelical.

As for becoming a "Scot Calvinist", I believe I was already a Scot before my conversion.

For the Calvinist, well I belief in TULIP but as I said I'm not the typical Scots Presbyterian, and they would never let me join their congregations like the Free Presbyterians because I cannot accept the Westminster Confession of Faith.

Many practices they hold to are unscriptural and are a throwback to the bondage of the law and are effectively the remnants of Romanism. The Reformation is to me something ongoing, not a finished process. Hardline Presbyterians might not like me for saying this and they can heark back to John Calvin or John Knox as if they were our version of the Catholic saints, but in quoting these guys as if they have scriptural authority they are betraying what they themselves stood for. The fact is I am the one that has the spirit of Reformation and looks 100% to the scripture for guidance and not Calvin's 'Institutes' or whatever.

There are a lot of unscriptural practices in Scottish Presbyterianism, such as... water baptism, communion, the superstitious reciting of the so-called "Lord's Prayer", sabbatarianism, etc etc. All of these are either remants of the law or of Romanism, and if hardline Scots Presbyterians don't like what I have to say on the matter and get all upset and quote the Westminster of Faith at me... well then they can shove it. I don't care what any theologian or confession says, or what their traditions were, because as I said earlier, if it isn't 100% scriptural I don't want it.

As for my "divine revelation" you poke fun at, well all I know from that is the state of my sin and that I look to the the work of the cross for salvation... and that is not something common to my country, but to all them that are born again in every country across the globe.
