Don't try and force a lynch with huge bets. Its not getting us anywhere.
I don't know who should get the items, and I certainly don't want them ending up in the wrong hands, so I'll refrain from voting on them.

    3) In a past life (as the Killer Rabbit) I performed a faction scan on him. I'm not implying that he's definitely chaotic, but his death would not displease me in the least bit.
So why not mention these points beforehand, especially the last point? Also, if YLC is anti-whatever-you-faction-is but not chaotic, wouldn't be the more prudent solution to vote for some people who actually could be chaotic?

I got just one question to you Mr Vote-seller: Why were you willing to trade your vote for the Puffy Shirt, but not the traitorous elf (which is by far the more powerful item). Sure Bow-wow-wow has a lead and it would be difficult to convince anyone to try to get it, but I got a solid lead too. Do I detect the signs of CHAOTIC collusion behind the scene mayhap? or am I just being a paranoid person as usual?

Lastly, to everyone: please don't give any one person more than 1 item - do we really need someone with a 40% retaliatory item running around? Hell, do we really need 2 people each with 20%? When we have no clues as to their identity? Spreading out the items is the only way to be sure - I don't even particularly care if I get that Shirt or not, but the crucial thing is don't let your greed get ahead of the need of the evil guys as a whole. I imagine quite a few people are right now quite pleased about making deals and what not in the past few hours in order to get themselves a few votes, but really, think about the consequences for the end of the game.

GIVE ME EQUAL DISTRIBUTION OF ITEMS OR GIVE ME DEATH!

PS: I can be bitterly opportunistic too! Unvote: Custom Desert Eagle for Arpeg

The answer is incredibly simple: Bow-wow-wow is voting for me to have the Desert Eagle, so I'm returning the favour as he asked people to. See here, you've even quoted this yourself:

•The Black Beast's ANIMATOR (10% Retaliatory item) to Death is Yonder
•Itchy and Scratchy's CARTOON MALLET (10% Retaliatory item) to Grayblades
•El Gigante's OMEGA VIRUS SAMPLE (10% Retaliatory item) to Beskar
•Alfred Branagh's CUSTOM DESERT EAGLE (10% Retaliatory item) to Arpeggiatethis
•Killer Rabbit's KILLER RABBIT (10% Vigilante item) to Jolt

So I all the items to different people. If you could repay the favour, vote that item that I voted for myself and then we can all (or the 7 people I voted for) get an item.

Don't get too greedy there, vote that one item to me please.

So yeah, just paranoid. And you're totally mean too for that unvote.

TBH I just took me and the first 6 people who voted. Some of them had 1 or 2 items that they wanted so I tried tio give everybody the one I want.

I'm not going to do this every round because I want everybody to have an item since we don't know who is on our side. I just figured I'd get dibs on the first batch.

And BTW you shouldn't be complaining, I voted you that nice Puffy shirt. Now if you'd care to return the favor. . . . . .

OK back from studying for a quick post. Fold; Bet: 5 credits on YLC

I am switching my vote because Renata's posts seems to make sense to me from a quick glance. It's the hear no evil, see no evil, monkey thing. Obviously there must be some sort of restriction going on for her otherwise she would post...like a normal person I guess is what I want to say. Good picture to get the message across.

So a scan thinks YLC is scummy and right now I think that is the best thing we got. I will be back once tomorrow to check in and then monday I have my chemistry midterm so I will be away until late monday.

His vote was only bandwagoning (the Renata one, by the way, I find very weak) and then he instantly went OMGUS on the first person to speak against him.

Also ATPG in your latest tally, you have a one person voting for me to have the Traitorous elf that you haven't included in the tally. (look at your last post)

Also ATPG how exactly does the wager system work? Do you get money back if the person you wagered on is lynched or only if they are chaotic? I'm a bit confused on that.

ATPG's rules state that you only get your wager back the lynchee is both successfully lynched and guilty. I assume that "guilty" means either chaotic or neutral. I don't know if there's any other alignments at work (other than evil, of course).

Also, I didn't say that YLC is chaotic! I just said that the result of my faction scan gave me little reason to value his continued existance, especially if he's going to remain inactive.

I think what B Ray is saying is that YLC is either nuetral or mafia and a different faction than he. At this point, there is no way to save YLC unless other large votes are laid on other people or votes removed from YLC. If YLC is mafia and NOT neutral, you people are gonna lose your credits. If he is nuetral, you will break even.

Lesson learned. Get in on the item votes early, or when you try to make a grab you will be accused of some behind-the-scenes-johnny-come-lately-chaotic drivel. I just wanted the puffy shirt because that one seemed to be the least wanted. I am still willing to trade item votes, but the tallies for the leaders are so high on the other items there is almost no point. Statistically speaking, at least one of the recipients will be chaotic, so theres no point speculating on who is more deserving, either.

*Sigh* I don't want to lose credits, and it doesn't look like anyone but YLC's getting lynched, so Fold, Bet 5 credits: YLC, but I really think we need to pressure some people more and avoid these huge bandwagons. It may cost us some credits to be on the second or third place lynch, but we really need to keep the second and third place lynches closer to first place.

This is gonna happen every round unless people will part with their hard earned credits. These huge wagons aren't good for discussion, and while we probably won't be seeing anything of the kind tonight, suppose someone shows up late and defends themselves? Oh, sorry guy, but its far too late to save yourself, as people pile votes on you to save their credits. The best solution is to place small bets. You have little to lose that way. These 20 credit votes are ridiculous, and in addition, completely unnecessary. YLC is getting lynched regardless. Making these large bets only increases the chance of you losing a lot is he turns out not to be chaotic, which he was never explicitly stated to be.

In the future, we should try to say things in a way that makes it perfectly clear what you mean, which frankly, is still quite doubtful. Is he chaotic or not? Or are you being purposely unclear to protect yourself regardless of his alignment?
Anyway, this lynch is going nowhere but YLC's way, but out of principle and not contradicting myself, I fold.

Just 'cause, you know, I kind of said it earlier: Small votes are the way to go. And anyone find it odd that for a guy who talks a lot, Earthling has disappeared for the entirety of today? Since I don't want to throw credits away, and because there's really no point to jumping on the YLC bandwagon at this point since it seems he's mafia based of of B-Ray's latest post, I will abstain for today. Maybe tomorrow we can try again with more manageable wagers?

    Hmm, returning the favor.

    Vote:
    Puffy Shirt to Shlin28

On another note, I disapprove of the lazy bandwagoning of YLC whose case was explicitly stated as mostly personal (faction goal maybe?) reasons.

    bet: 20 on YLC
He's been completely silent this game, as far as I can tell.

    3) In a past life (as the Killer Rabbit) I performed a faction scan on him. I'm not implying that he's definitely chaotic, but his death would not displease me in the least bit.
Clearly if YLC was such a big threat to evil B-Ray would not have hesitated to wait 4 and a half hours to add on the elaboration. I'm more inclined to believe that its just a "help me to complete my faction goals" thing, and B-Ray himself even confirms that he didn't explicitly say YLC was chaotic.

Nevertheless, the phase is ending, and the lynch is most definitely not going to be reversed, so in the interest of possibly getting my credit back:

    Fold;
    Bet 1 Credit: YLC

Anyway, this lynch is going nowhere but YLC's way, but out of principle and not contradicting myself, I fold.
Since credits are ultimately essential to preventing a forced anti-mafia victory, it would be good to nevertheless endeavor to preserve credits in situations like this.

TIME UP. VOTES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED PAST 0100.

Writeup in progress. Please send in night actions.

Reminder: Revealing information about yourself privately is not allowed. Revealing information about other people is allowed.

Claims about self must be made publicly before they can be made privately.

    Helpful hint/reminder:

Here is a complete list of things you can attempt to do without spending credits or using items, for the purposes of trying to uncover your hidden talent with your second action slot.

    1. Investigate someone
    2. Roleblock someone
    3. Vigilante kill someone
    4. Protect someone else
    5. Protect yourself
    6. Kill your attacker
    7. Resist Theft
    8. Resist Scan
    9. Resist Roleblock
    10. Revive player
    11. Bus driver (remember, this targets two players)
    12. Steal item

You have two action slots. You can perform an item-based move, a credit-based move, or a move based on your innate hidden talent/learned abilities and doesn't use your item or credits.

You can attempt to perform anything on that list. Since you have two slots, you should use both. Some of those actions are to your clear and obvious advantage regardless and cost you nothing to attempt, and should it fail, it's the same as if you never sent in a second action.

Remember to describe who your target is at all times, and if you're trying to steal credits, how many you're willing to spend in the attempt.

    DAY TWO

Shaken by the loss of so many of their own, the villains gathered together at the center of the city to discuss which of them were the traitors. They accused each other mightily, with several candidates discussed as probable targets, but in the end, the silent one was chosen by a landslide. Further, many were so convinced of their choice, they wagered heavily against their target, leaving absolutely no margin for error.

The Angel: "Who among you have you decided is responsible for these heinous crimes?"

    The villains shouted in unison.

    "YLC! YLC! YLC! YLC!"

The strange figure known only as YLC stood in the shadows at the back of the crowd, glaring at them, even as their accusations grew louder and more ferocious. He said nothing.

The Angel: "Bring him before me."

The crowd looked around, unsure of the creature's whereabouts, until suddenly, one of the animals spotted him, lurking in the darkness.

"There he is! Kill the lurker! Cut his throat! Bash him in! Blood for the blood god! Skulls for the skull throne!"

They scrambled toward the lurking figure, surrounding him. Quickly, his accusers tried to subdue him, with Subotan leading the way. Many others charged forward, fighting amongst each other, trying to destroy the hated lurker. He was guilty of something, and that's all they needed to know.

The one known as YLC said nothing, but stepped out of the shadows to reveal his true form.

The advancing army didn't even slow down, but YLC gripped his weapons tightly and began hurling them at the approaching force. Many of them were smashed roughly in the head, and others were severely wounded by the painful projectiles. Still, none of this deterred the crowd, and although the creature put up a valiant struggle, we was quickly captured and disarmed, and dragged before the Angelic One.

The Angel: "YLC, you have been found guilty by your peers. Have you any last words?"

YLC said nothing, but he did roll his eyes at the group.

The Angel: "Very well. Now you shall die in a manner most fitting! Behold my power!!!"

The Angel summoned a massive amount of energy, and a beam of light fell from the heavens, landing in the center of town. From the ground came a large, green, cylindrical object. It seemed to be some kind of large sewer pipe, strangely pointing up for no apparent reason.

From out of this pipe came a familiar figure clad in red and blue, who spotted YLC and immediately stood in a fighting stance. YLC produced more weapons seemingly out of thin air, and finally spoke.

YLC: "Now ya got my Hammer Angry! Ya shouldn't have done that!"

With that, the Hammer Brother split in two and became the Hammer Brothers.

And he was quickly beaten by that mustachioed plumber, who stole his hammer and jumped down the warp pipe to escape, shouting:

    "It's-a me! Mario!"

The villains were quite confused as to what the heck just happened, and why they went through all that just to defeat a foe that could barely fight back. They were tired, and much worse for wear after their failed lynch.
