    Actually after spending months observing the AIs, I can confidently say that there is no magical army awarded to the AIs. They still need to recruit armies like humans do, although they enjoy a discount on recruitment and upkeep. So this gives an impression that AI gets free army. If you sabotage the AI's castle, they can't get any army from the province during that season.
