i will say that although i think we’re probably in a good spot, it’s hard to feel super confident in that when half the thread isn’t contributing much and the other half is still kinda spinning our wheels
Stuff Cuth said about my meta is more or less adequate.

monty looks absolutely terrible if they're both villagers, thus my vote there, i think specifically pzelda making the first post about dya being an outed wolf early on d1 and also dunking on gh is probably a fairly good look regardless of gh/dya alignments
don't think the wolves are taking quite as much advantage of town blehness as they could, but maybe that's because we're not on the right tracks and don't have to yet?
which would give me a bit of hope for our chances after we get A Flip
there's a big block of what do with manasi/manti/colonel/dolby
and unless there are at least two wolves in there idk what's going on with this game maybe if gh/dya not w/w
i feel like there was a fairly considerable swing of momentum onto specifically that world today, and i don't think the people like actively championing it are as much to blame as the people who treated it as a sort of implicit assumption
idk

c) when i said gh's progression on dya was very binary, i meant that it was either on or off-- he strongly townread them through the beginning of this phase and then very quickly swung over to the other side; i don't think this is necessarily a Bad Look but there are worlds in which it's sort of a necessary evil push and i'm a little concerned about its similarity to his push on lissa last game in the back of my head

with regards to your second point i answered that yesterday, i think monty and you specifically did that d2
I still think it's sillypants to suss someone like this for basically sharing your lean avant la letre. 'I expressed a take that you later thought could have merit, therefore I'm lockiest scum all game' is one of the weirder tunnels I've faced.

but i think i took more of a stance on gh/dya's alignments than you did, and i came into the phase after the strong pushes on them had cooled off substantially, and both of those are relatively significant imo
my impression from your posting, and this may be misinformed because i honestly haven't read them in a long time, was that you were basically sanctioning those pushes from the start of the phase, which is when they were strongest, but also saying "huh what if they're both v what then" which is weird and unnecessary when you're not indicating a huge degree of caring about their alignments and not doing anything to push back against the villagers who were legitimately tunneling on gh/dya there
it's like
the absolute safest way to approach that situation in terms of your connections to anyone being pressured regardless of dya/gh's alignments lol

so you don’t like cuth’s read on you. is he a wolf? if not him, who?
Cuth, you said Monty doing something like trying to get Manti killed is something he'd need to do yesterday
is there a reason he doesn't make more of his focus bussing logic before pushing Manti coming into today? What do you think of Logic no posting considering?
do you think he's doing it as a wolf to try to get town read? He says he's doing it for himself, do you believe that and if he's a wolf what does it accomplish for him?
I'm asking because I feel like it's pretty towny but I want to talk about

From the very beginning the context of what my post was in response to has been elided.

You Thanked that Visor post by the way.
Although I can see how people might have been confused about whether I was referring to the GH/dya pairing in Visor's post or the dya-Rask reveals coming at the end of day (i.e. dya/Rask t-t would almost always indicate GH town).

I didn't. Admittedly, it's not easy to understand what I meant there, but your reaction was unexpected; from context (!) it should be clear that I had moved on from addressing you.

and what do you think of cuth having "one wolf read"
i can see it both ways
i think he’s proooobably a wolf who doesn’t have other avenues to pursue so he’s doubling down on his monty push to maybe get monty killed before him or at least avoid spewing more people on his way out
but i acknowledge it’s also possible he’s a villager who’s being lazy or doesn’t feel he should reevaluate for whatever reason or just really thinks monty is a hit
as in, it might explain why he does really seem like he’s trying/is wasting his time with pointless stuff like isoing himself/only really is talking about one player/etc
if he’s a wolf on team zero WIM he’s not gonna be motivated to do much more when his team has completely left him hanging

is there a reason he doesn't make more of his focus bussing logic before pushing Manti coming into today? What do you think of Logic no posting considering?
a few possible reasons come to mind
off the cuff:
a) maybe logic said he wanted to post and never got around to it but monty felt like he should at least give him a chance
b) maybe logic just decided there wasn't any point and monty knew logic was dead in the water by the time he started posting much and didn't know how to interact with him because it's super easy to tmi so he went very light there (i did this in team game with gh/wisdom both a little on accident)
c) he was pretty strongly suspected until this phase and so he wanted to set up that direction ahead of time, so that people paid attention to him at least a little

i have no clue. i don’t think it’s villagery though. it seems like something he wants us to level ourselves into thinking is villagery because “why would a wolf do this” when it’s actually completely asinine and meaningless

i'm sitting here watching the wrestling match between the inner demon who's disappointed about you feeling that way and the inner demon who read my own posts this morning

c) he was pretty strongly suspected until this phase and so he wanted to set up that direction ahead of time, so that people paid attention to him at least a little
a) Everyone gave him a chance
b) This is the exact kind of scenario I can't -not- bus
c) If I reasoned so, I would have been the one filling Logic's slot yesterday
