Do you find something funny with the name Biggus Dickus?
in the EB PBeM
I am 19 years old and live in Sweden. Currently I'm studying engineering in linköping. But I dont really like it - so I will change to something different next year. Maybe to something about biology.
When I don't play EB I pretty much do everything you expected from a student. I like party, films, art and most of all music.![]()
I was about to say it's nice to have another engineer, but seeing as your gonna change, I shall be alone once more. I've noticed a lot of people who play are students. Or are the students just trying to do anything to avoid doing their work while most others feel threatened by the average age of about 19-21!![]()

quick answer is greeks
but that not to say that's bad as we're the ones that are normally the interesting ones unless you talk about something no one knows what your going on about and you get a few Dodgy looks
the people I think play EB are gaming or/and historical fans I think that the hard-core gaming fans would need a interest in history for them to stay around for more than 3 months
ages 14 - 40 there will be old one's but I think it a very small percent but 16 - 40 for the majority
Almost nineteen, a preacher's kid from the US of A. A lifelong military history fan, I got into the TW series with Medieval, bought Rome. Played Rome until nauseated with the inaccuracies, then downloaded EB 1.0.

I guess that balances it out a wee bit.

As I walked through the Glenshane Pass I heard a young girl mourn
The boy form Tamlaghtduff 'she cried 'is two years dead and gone'
How my heart is torn apart this young man to lose
Oh I'll never see the likes again of my young Francis Hughes ....

I'm a 22 year old American (Mostly German, Scandinavian, with just a pinch of Native American) microbiologist working at the NIH. The medical and biological sciences appear to be well represented on this thread. Always been interested in RTS, mostly Starcraft and Age of Empire Series. Really enjoy a good book, recently been reading Jared Diamonds works on society and Harry Turtledove's alternate history novels. Got into TW series through my cousin introducing me to MTW. Bought RTW but was disappointed. I enjoy games that break genera standards; SimCity, The Sims, Portal, Spore, Mirror's Edge. Stumbled across the EB forums here in the summer of 2005, downloaded .72 in January 2006 and been addicted ever since. And that is the story of how I found EB.

You need to eat...meh ... what's the point... who needs to eat when you can play EB
Try to play EB 3 days without eat anything...
It's maybe weird, but for me, the EB music works great as appetizers...
cheers for everyone creating the EB music...maybe you can get some donations, playing these eat-inducing music in restaurants...

Many thanks to Hooahguy for this great sig.
25 yo Bulgarian. Ibrahim, 10 friends is a lot. I have half as much and I am a very happy man. There are lots of people I can drink a beer with, but very few I call friends. Why aren't Greek guys praising ouzo? I love that drink, it is excellent for a hot summer evening.Crystallized of course. And here is a recepy: take a melon, inject it with ouzo, freeze it and than enjoy? Anyway I drink anything. In my university years I even drank homemade vodka. I am surprised I am still alive.
I study political science.

Ouzo is pretty good, yes.
This space intentionally left blank.
I just realised that I had been lurking for a really long time, even after creating an account. been lurking here since..........sometime early last year, but only created an account a few weeks ago.
i'm a 15 year old from Singapore (I think I'm the only one from that region), came across EB when I was searching for a RTW mod that had a map that wasn't cut off at Persia.
I'm particularly interested in History, oh everyone here is, but I got interested in history after I got RTW.

Hey that's our way of colonisation XD If Empires Total war had a simmilar Government system as EB Germans would build a brewery instead of Provisorial Military Government^^
"Who fights can lose, who doesn't fight has already lost."
- Pyrrhus of Epirus
"Durch diese hohle Gasse muss er kommen..."
- Leonidas of Sparta
"People called Romanes they go the House"
- Alaric the Visigoth
Ze goffernment isst in ze brauerai. LOL Its a great way to throw off people who want to overthrow the "colonial oppressors"
, after all, who would look for the military governor inside the brewery (except a German, of course).

Actually, Ouzo is not very good for your health. That's basically because it turns white when mixed with water, which isn't good. On the other hand, I do sometimes drink Souma, which is the Parian equivalent of Tsipouro. Tsipouro closely resembles Ouzo in smell and taste, with some differences, mainly regional ones. Raki is also a good drink here in Crete. But Ouzo... Nah. Just for guys with no knowledge who have seen Zorbas the Greek or visited Greece in some goat village once in their lives

I have visited Greece on several occasions but it wasn't the first time I tried ouzo. We have mastika in Bulgaria which is very close to ouzo. What is raki, Maion? We have rakiya here, which is good, but the variety is broad. It coukd be made of rape, apricot or plumps. And what alcohol IS good for your health? Wine of course, but not in the quantities that make it fun. Don't drink often and you should be ok. Cheers![]()
