Night 1 write up

Aarin Gend was alert all night, as a spymaster he knew all around him, so when A dark figure touched his shoulder as Aarin made himself a campfire, his body activated and within microseconds Aarin turned to see what had touched him.

Nothing was there, there was no wind. Nothing. Aarin refused to shrug this off to, as many would, soon he traversed through the wilderness in search of what may of hit him, what is petty to many is serious to this man and this instincts prevailed as he found a man with a hood sitting not far from the campfire.

As Aarin advanced on the figure it rose and an ancient face emerged. The face began to smile in a loving nature, whilst shooting a red spark from it’s hand, eventually Aarin began to laugh as his eyes went crimson red and he levitated a foot or two from the ground, yet in all of this Aarin didn’t die as many of Neverwinter’s residence usually would. Soon he just fell to the ground and after regains consciousness, the two became companions....

An adventurer was lying asleep when a throwing axe passed their head, it didn’t succeed however, and simply embedded itself into the persons arm.
Just a few miles away, an hour later another was unfortunate enough to experience this, however the axe lodged in the leg on this attempt.

Jolt & Greyblades are both Injured; Injured people are still in the game but cannot vote unless they are recovered.

Valen Shadowbreath was on a mission as he grabbed one of his finest weapons, in the wilderness he was looking for a man to fight, he wanted practice as much as a kill as he rustled through the bushes, was it by chance that he’d found a target? A race of man he’d never encountered before with a sword, shield and throwing axes. Both were more than happy to fight without a word as Valen madly charged with his warhammer whilst his opponent held his shield up whilst throwing his axes, though they all deflected off of Valens cumbersome armour and the warhammer thundered down on the outlandish opponent, his shield was ruined and left arm therefore mauled in the transition, Valen met his victims sword thrust with a blow to the head as his opponent was smashed into the ground. After this heated brawl Valen was content with abilities and soon slept easily even after his foul deed.

Just before sunrise a limping figure placed a blessing on Valen Shadowbreath’s Chest to purify his ‘tiefling misdemeanour’ upon waking he felt a divine connection to Tyr. Whilst getting out from this rest place he felt like he was being watched, as rustling sounds and footsteps could be heard as if they were in his ear.

OK lets see, there was 2 attempts at murder, one successfull murder, 2 cult conversions, one town one anti town, and Beefy is either guilty of has been framed.
Oh and taka (who got me and jolt with throwing axe) has been killed in an act of murder by what im guessing is a reformed mafia.

Hmmm, this sounds intriguing. I would say someone has re-joined our ranks (A divine connection implying something good) and someone investigated him (As was made pretty clear). So it would appear someone knows who Valen Shadowbreath is and we know they killed taka. A lack of a role reveal would probably hint at Valen being a vigilante of some sort.

i also think either Jolt or greyblades have a very powerful role, since:

Sounds like a wizard to me.

It could be anything that casts spells; paladin, sorceror, warlock, bard, even ranger after afew levels

Look how it says an ancient face, I'd say that's most indicative of a wizard or a sorcerer. I'd say it's unlikely it's a warlock since it ended in the two characters being friends.

Hmm must have missed that... Lord Nasher maybe? No he was a fighter... I don't think it was very clear, the Wiki just said he was an Adventurer.
Edit- Doesn't help that he was Lawfull Good... or that he probably died when White_eyes:D killed everyone in Neverwinter.

Allthough I may be as curious about who disabled me for a day as all of you it may not be such a good idea to waste the next 12 hours waiting for him to log on. I for one would like to know who Valen Shadowbreath is and whether he was mafia or psycopath.

I suppose whatever alignment he had, he probably is LG now because of "upon waking he felt a divine connection to Tyr" and what you posted a while ago about your secret contact being able to convert.

Valen Shadowbreath is a tiefling Weapon Master is first encountered in the rebel Drow encampment of Lith My'athar (Act two of Hordes of the Underdark).

Initially distrustful of the player, Valen nevertheless makes his services available, and is the romance option for female characters. Valen is a tremendously powerful warrior who makes a great tank for your small group. As a tiefling, or part-demon, he is constantly besieged by the violent nature of his infernal blood and his dark past. The player can choose to acquire Valen's true name near the end of the Hordes of the Underdark campaign. Before the final battle, the player then has a dialogue option to use Valen's true name to free him from his infernal taint, thus saving him from his own blood. If this is not done, Mephistopheles offers to do the same for Valen, and he will turn against the player unless a successful persuade check is made, he is compelled against his own will to fight with you (by use of his True Name), or a female player has built up a strong enough relationship with him.


I think we can discount that he is mafia I would say purly based on the character he is either a vig or a mafia. The only other option would be that he is a normal townie who can be turned good or evil comparing on who has his true name.

Well i think everyone has figured this out but... So far there has been 2 masons, 1 good(Either me or jolt) one evil, with one recruit each, the Good one potentialy having a vigilante/ex-psycopath and evil with what may be an investigator (spymaster), a player with enough power to scare off an assassin even injured so maybe an immune to night kills role?(again me or jolt... or maybe the good convert, was he injured in his attack on Taka?) a multi vote nullififer (probably the deceased Taka; throwing axes) and one mafia who was scared off(Beefy probably, allthough the clue seemed a bit obvious(I mean seriously ares? You Bolded it? I can't help but think that you are more devious than that.)).
