Sounds like an interesting idea, then why not make a soap opera of Jeremy Clarkson's life, after all, he pockets 4 pence a year from each taxpayer for making a show where he can insult lorry drivers, foreigners, homosexuals and environmentalists (then again, so does Prince Philip), and he is only one person, and does not fulfill any triffling tasks, such as oh, I don't know, constitutional duties expected of the Head of State.

Not that I mind Jeremy Clarkson for insulting foreigners, homosexuals, environmentalists and lorry drivers, people like him are sometimes needed, after all, it would be a dreadfully dreary place if everyone went about po-faced wingeing about people's feelings.

You forgot horse owners, motorcyclists, Americans, archeologists, small guys, Simon Cowell and people who spend their holiday in Ibiza. BTW, good riposte.

    Spoken like a true royalist.

Personally I think Jeremy Clarkson earned his keep for all eternity with that one program where they tried their utmost to kill a Toyota pick-up truck - and failed.

    Wait.

    Top Gear. Brilliant.

Reinvent the British and you get a global finance center, edible food and better service. Reinvent the French and you may just get more Germans.

I say use them for the MOST FREAKIN AWESOME showing of Titus Andronicus EVAR!

Think about it... the actors eating meat pies made of actual human flesh -- made up of the Royal Family, no less! And REAL BLOOD AND MURDER!

Sounds like the perfect Redneck holiday.

Aye, though the one where they upset some American hicks and were chased out of town by the Klan in pickup trucks with shotguns was even better.

    Best top gear moment ever!

    That was brilliant!

    Although...

That one has potential.. don't suppose you have a link handy ?

I don't think the Harry dress up was that bad, a stupid idea yes, was he out trying to cause shock and offence, no. It was a silly mistake to think that nazi uniforms would be acceptable as dress up... give it a few decades and it probably will be an acceptable fancy dress costume...
