Well, now that the villainous, uncooperative Jolt has been dealt with perhaps we can focus on people who are, y'know, actually guilty.

My Physics class has been taking much of my time this school year. Also on Wednesdays I have two clubs I am in taking up much of my time after school, which is why I am posting so late.
This leads into my:
Warning to GH, since i am busy on Wednesdays so much with my physics and various clubs I will probably miss more then a few votes on this day of the week and not post until late in the night for me, too late to meet the deadline most of the time. Just telling you now, I don't have the time I did with Capo.
And I just want the org to know, if anybody wants me to troll more all you have to do is ask.
Lack of time seems to be a common problem, so no worries.
I'm only keeping this phase short because any longer and I'd probably have to really drag it out because of my sleep schedule. If I do that, I prefer to do it when there's a voting phase.

Anyway,
So, basically Jolt was lynched, because he would like to be recruited by the mafia?
That sounds like a silly reason to me. It's not like townies can chose to go mafia in this game. They get recruited or they don't. For all we (and that includes Jolt) know, he may even be one of those townies who are not recruitable.
Why didn't we make him an officer, like we did with the previous townie who "might get recruited by the mafia"?
Hey, you know what: I'm a townie and it's possible that I could be recruited. Maybe make me an officer? Or lynch me?
Why was ATPG made officer and did Jolt get lynched?
I'm confused.

...What??? Why? Or better yet, really? I seriously have no idea why you took the work to do that, but I can assure to everyone that I did NOT write ANY of that. This was just all too weird.
EDIT: At 8/9 PM, I had dinner and left with some friends to go to Bairro Alto, how the heck could I have been here to write any of that??? Its irrelevant, in any case.

BLARGH!
I'll be up all night on deck. Anyone want to play knucklebones?
Pizza has been declared fully investigated and cleared. Why on Earth would he lie Jolt. I think you need to come up with a better defense than "Pizza is lying for some reason."
EDIT: Missed the fact that the day has already ended. Jolt, why bother continuing to claim Pizza is lying?

Aww.. too bad I was asleep, and away following that, if not I could have easily told you the answer
This seems to sum up my opinion of the current day phase...
Back to hitting the books
Edit: We'll know in 3 daysEDIT: Missed the fact that the day has already ended. Jolt, why bother continuing to claim Pizza is lying?![]()

You cannot add days to life but you can add life to days.
And you're in Portugal, yes... so when you were voting in the top quoted post, it was 5:27PM my time, as reflected in the quoted conversation. Not to mention the fact that you were here to, you know, vote, precisely 3 minutes before I voted for you. So everything you're saying is a lie. Which, if you're a townie, means you want to confuse and spread misinformation even in death.Originally Posted by Jolt

Because:
Pizza has been protecting crew, and Jolt has been killing them.
Pizza spoke the truth, Jolt lied about the MSN chat.
Jolt has been on a killing expedition at least twice. Against players he knew to be town. He also lied about chat logs / PM's. (Which, incidentally, our silly hypocrites Sasaki, Andres and Jolt seem to have forgot was the very reason they themselves vig killed innocent Grizzly)
How is that not a good lynch? Players need to protect themselves against their killers. Of any kind. Be they English, maven, or townies who publicly announce they will kill townies just for the fun of it.
> Jolt has at least twice been involved in vig killing innocents. There is a silly hypocrisy in Jolt's mates protesting his lynch as 'unnecessary killing of a town player'.
Half the people who protested, have been involved in killing innocents together with Jolt.
> Sasaki, you are mistaken about this game's mechanics. This game is exceedingly difficult for the town:
Investigations take a whopping three days. This game will be over before a detective has even managed to investigate a mere handful of players.
Players turn mafia without prior warning. Without any visible sign of it in the thread. In Capo, a player needs to kill to turn to the Dark Side. We get to see players turn mafia. They can also be caught doing so by detectives.
Not so here.
Lastly, all of the town players are in competition with one another too.
So again, even if the names of all the mafia players were announced by GH right now, the town could still lose. There is absolutely no reason to assume this will be a town walkover.
> For some reason, many players think that wantonly killing players is a fun thing to do. I disagree. There are roles. And there are people behind the roles. What is so cool about ending the game for some guy/gal just for the kicks of it? Just because you are disappointed that you are town?
> Wanton killing of your own side isn't even good pirate role playing. What pirate secretly kills his own crew members at night? That's not Pirate role-playing, that is 'drugged Somali teenage militia' roleplaying.
This is a ridiculous argument, because Jolt didn't even comment on the chat log until after the lynch was over. This was never a basis for the lynch.
Apparently the people 'running' the town seem to have forgotten that in order to win we need to lynch the starting mafioso. Lynching anyone else is a waste of time.
I will admit that this aspect does raise my eyebrow about Jolt. However, that doesn't change the fact that the lynch itself was one of the most scumtastic bandwagons of the year.
I also like how we're now retroactively saying that the LG vig kill was wrong. Odd that everyone seems to forget that if LG hadn't been killed, he would've been lynched immediately afterwards. That vig kill saved us a lynch... which was then used on LG's most prominent defender.

That's true. But, that didn't come up until after he was lynched and now some people( who may or may not be french) are trying to say it was a basis for guilt, when it didn't factor in. I think Capo may have made people a bit too confident in ATPG. I'm pretty sure he could post a Reenk Roink style chain of smilies and end up getting someone lynched at this point.Originally Posted by Jolt

Wrong, not wrong...I didn't care. There were reasons to kill Grizz, there were reasons not to. I, for one, never voted for any of his killers over it.Originally Posted by TC
What I'm saying, is that Grizz was killed on the flimsiest of evidence. The same reason that Jolt was lynched. A lynch, to which several of the very vig killers against Grizz and Andres protested because it was based on 'the flimsiest of evidence'. Which is rather odd. One has to lynch somebody, whereas one doesn't have to vig kill somebody.
The bandwagon happened owing to the absense of any real mafia suspects. Nobody had any, so nobody can berate anybody else for not having any. But in the absense of any clear mafia suspects, I'd like to keep as many town alive for as long as possible.
And this is the hypocrisy of it: I have been very outspoken against wanton vig kills based on no clear reasons. Several others haven't. Yet, it is this last crew who are now protesting a lynch as 'wantonly killing' of crew.
Somebody's got to get lynched. My own vote on Jolt, incidentally, I think was the first one. At any rate, placed well before a bandwagon appeared and before Pizza posted any comments on Jolt.
You're remembering incorrectly. LG was killed because he admitted to having lied. Jolt was lynched because he said he was a bored townie. There's a huge difference there.
If you'd like to keep the town alive, I suggest you try to lynch people that appear like they might be mafioso, as opposed to people that appear to almost certainly be townies. I'm not sure if you noticed this, but the entire argument for lynching Jolt was based on the assumption that he was a townie. No one even suggested that he was a mafioso. Color me skeptical if you say that was the best method of keeping townies alive. The bandwagon happened owing to the absense of any real mafia suspects. Nobody had any, so nobody can berate anybody else for not having any. But in the absense of any clear mafia suspects, I'd like to keep as many town alive for as long as possible.
And some of the protesters, like me, have been doing nothing but cooperating fully with CR-organized protection groups. Am I scum because I think what they say makes sense? And this is the hypocrisy of it: I have been very outspoken against wanton vig kills based on no clear reasons. Several others haven't. Yet, it is this last crew who are now protesting a lynch as 'wantonly killing' of crew.
And what do you think of the bandwagon that appeared afterwards? Does it not concern you that so many people were able to vote without giving any reason or being questioned over it?Somebody's got to get lynched. My own vote on Jolt, incidentally, I think was the first one. At any rate, placed well before a bandwagon appeared and before Pizza posted any comments on Jolt.
Louis, have you ever been scum in a mafia game before?
Scum as opposed to townie.

There's also something that bothers me.
CR and ATPG claim to have contact with detectives.
After he died, Tratorix told us to lynch CDF.
Do CR, ATPG or Louis know something about Tratorix' role?
Did you guys have specific reasons to ignore Tratorix' accusation?
EDIT: has Louis been cleared through investigations?

Uh, firstly, the round is over
Secondly ATPG can't lie as the argument was centered around lying about chatlogs and uh... wanting to be a mafia, emphasis on the "wanting to be"...
Apparently it looks as if Tratorix is attacking CDF due to the fact that all those who participated with him in a group died off simultaneously and pretty fast... that and "stuff the dead can't reveal".There's also something that bothers me.
