I do eat alot of vegetables, just not much fruit. Chocolate chip cookie dough is my fave!

I always found weight lifting and cardio combination a good way to improve physique. Protien powder doesn't hurt either.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

Weightlifting, sit- or push-ups is a waste of time if you want to lose weight, just go jogging, outside not in the gym, bad for your knees. A swim is best, 10 minutes a day should do but the more the better.

Don't use weight as a metric. Find a way to get a reliable body fat measurement and think percentages. I'm probably back up to 15% body fat but the goal is less than 10; no less than 5. Either way it's an improvement from my all time high of over 33%.

Body fat on women is good as long as it's in the right places.

I think hes refering to weights = more muscle = fat turning to muscle = less weight loss

thats pretty much all i can spare in my schedule.

i heard that bannanas are the worst fruits you can have, is that true?

i started taking tuna w/ salad sandwhiches instead of PB&J.

is the fruit cup really so bad? what do you recommend instead?

my mom usually makes random things, no real pattern, but wednesday is pizza, which i avoid completely, and thursday is noodles, which i have one serving of with marinara sauce, no cheese.
    That s a daily routine?

Lifting makes you stronger, but will hardly burn fat.

O rly? That's not what you said in the begining and still isnt entirely true. There is a difference between fats but that is only when you are about to consume food, the fat cells in your body are fat cells and can not turn into muscle

I would assume that weight training increases heart-rate and blood-flow that would contribute to fat loss. Not to mention the tearing of muscles that will increase their size. It would seem that weight-lifting alone would burn fat and improve overall appearance, ie. making one more lean.

You and I think alike! I've been weight-lifting since I was 14! I've always had a decent physique and managable weight! It's when I ran 6-10 miles a day and stopped weight-lifting that I got very thin. Almost emaciated!

no you are actually damaging muscle tissue when lifting, body fixes it and muscle grow the more you hurt them. Ask these big guys to do 50 push-ups, they can't.

At the start of the thread I didn't actually hyrocrite myself, only mentioned weightlifting probably won't help you lose weight. Muscle is denser than fat so it can carry more weight in the same area of space.

There is a difference between doing it right and doing nothing at all. Swimming is best you use your whole body, and 10 minutes a day will do, 30 if you want to look like me and you want to look like me.
