Hmm, VAT. Isn't that why it costs 12 USD for an appetizer?Scrapping ID cards is a good thing. Also interested in the move to push the tax free earning limit to £10,000. Although I think the effect of this may well be undermined by the raising of VAT (sales tax) to 20/21/22%.
Reinvent the British and you get a global finance center, edible food and better service. Reinvent the French and you may just get more Germans.
