Unit Description

Swabian Swordsmen are available to Holy Roman Empire from Swabia during the Early period. They are one of the best sword units available in Early, and will hold up in later eras as well. Swabian Swordsmen have a large shield which helps protect them from missiles, but in melee they use their swords two-handed and swap the protection for an armour piercing attack. This unit can be used as front line troops or as flankers, they are solid in either role.
