Yup.. From what I can see, Noble Sons II is much more calmer compared to Noble Sons I.

General Reenkazoid.. The greatest general on the history of Greater Reenk and Lesser Roink smiled to his men.... Then with out any sign of hesitation, he shouted.

I just realised that theres no landbridge between the Consulate and Aresea Aresea and the natives of the Consulate has once enjoyed peace. Being dislocated from the main island, Aresea constantly suffered Food shortage. For the exchange for food, Aresea shipped out Pearls to the natives of the Consulate. For the ease of transport, they built a bridge, strong enough to hold thousands and thousands, crossing at the same time. However the alliance they once had was now completely ripped apart, when Aresea was accused of sending spies into the consuls land.

Now both heroes meets in battle. On the east side, it was Lacy. Encouraging her troops to boost their morals.

"Not only once! But twice!! Those villains in Aresea tried to send dirty spies in our land!! For that, they will pay with blood!! and....."
"Justice on our side" said the voice calmly. Lacy looked over her shoulders and saw the old lady accompanied by many guards.
"Mother!!" Lacy jumped on to her mother, almost crushing her with the weight of armours Lacy was wearing.

Troops of the consulate cheered to the appearance of their legendary co founder, Sara, who found this fair country side by side of Prince YLC who has now deceased.

"May I?" asked Sara, lifting her self on the speech stand. Then she said.

"I came here today to witness something. Justice!! To see something right happening! This can achieved with only one way!! WIN! THIS! BATTLE!!"

Soldiers roared. It was soo loud that it was even heard on the other side.

On the west side..There stood the army of Aresea. Many has underestimated her army of fishes. It was comical to see Dolphins and Sharks holding swords, fighting side by side with humans. Or tunas shooting arrows. But those who laughed at the sight died regretting. However the army of the Consulate did not recognize Aresea as bunch of soldiers from the fairy tale. It was obvious that the battle was going to be long and tough... And unfortunate outcome was to happen to the loser... Or perhaps to both..

General Reenkazoid decided to try and dislodge; The Hungry Khaans army by sending his Pikemen up a narrow gap in the hilltop. He hoped to pry the entrenched Steppe army out, to fight close range and limit there mobility.

The Hungry Khaan saw this and mutter to himself, "Predictable". He then waved his arm to his officer nearby, who then waved a red flag to carefully placed Elite Steppe Horsemen, who then opened up a rain of arrows and fire arrows down on Reenkazoids Pikemen.

Reenkazoid was then warned by his officer's that the men were taking heavy causalities not just by the arrows but by some of the traps that had been set by the Khaan before hand. He then said without worry or even panic, "use Plan R".

The Hungry Khaan was about to leave when, he heard a strange sound. It was like thunder but there was no Rain, he quickly asked his scout what that sound was as it was scaring the horses and making the men's morale drop. The officer merely ran off and many of the Steppe horsemen, who moments before were laughing and thinking there victory assured, started running back to there own lands and off the hilltop.

Reenkazoid merely grinned, as his Mini-Cannons scared off most of the Khaans forces. The "Elite Steppe horsemen" ran with there tails between there legs back to there own lands. Reenkazoid then watched as the hungry Khaan, retreated as well. A cheer went up from Reenk's men, as they resumed there march into the Khaans lands......

Battle:Close Victory for Greater Reenk and lesser Roink and he may now take up to 50% of The Hungry Khaan's land.

Lacy decided that they were going to wait for Aresea's navy...a bold, even suicidal move to have them out in the open but she held strong that her army on the mainland would come though.

Sharky saw this and immediately, his instincts told him it was a trap. He was not an able general though, his navy sailed straight for the Consulates navy without his orders. This had some benefits, much to Sharky's surprise they caught a second fleet of ships by surprise and stuck them, sinking much of them.

Lacy only smirked coldly, as she watched them board her ships and started massacring her men but clearly displeased at her second fleet being sunk, it being full of marines. She watched as Dolphins using their snouts and shark people used there teeth on her men.
After a few more minutes, Lacy shouted to her officers to Begin "plan chowder fish".

Sharky was cowering and unable to tell his men about the trap, only the most disciplined held there ground and obeyed the order to not attack the Consulate's ships. Seconds later, there were several bright flashes as half of Areseas navy went up. Sharky went into panic, unable to direct his forces to any meaningful positions. Then a messager docked and told him something and he started shaking violently and passed out.

Lacy felt the battle was going so in her favor, she was busy fixing her make-up that she had earlier messed up giving orders. Suddenly, Fishpeople come out of the water and tried to kill Lacy, "Revenge for our fallen brothers" they shouted. She merely killed them in an act of swordplay that would make old Prince Sarathos jealous. It was then that a messager arrived with word that King Yoyoma the second had taken up positions around the Consulate and started invading. Sara started shaking at hearing that name, the one who's father had killed her one true love. Lacy only squeezed her hands together in anger and ordered her men to pull back to counter this offensive.

Sharky had not expected the "exiles" to invade Aresea, that was the news he had heard before he passed out. His men also retreated to Aresea to counter this new threat.

Battle:Draw but Aresea loses half of it's navy and the exiles have there capital. The Consulate loses all of its Navy and goes away, empty handed. Winners are Beefdom and Exiles for this one:bow: I am sorry YLC...I would include that picture...but you said only if you won:shrug:

Much thanks to the Beef are due who has graced his servants with a victory. For certainly we would be nothing without the Beef. We have succeeded in the attack against the heretic latrine cleaner and his forces. But there is much I must inform you about, because this victory was admittedly unexpected to me, may more thanks go to the Beef for delivering his servants.

For you see my King, we had hedged our bets that the heretic latrine cleaner and his allies would be inter fighting with the apostate king of the veggies Greyblades. But of course, that did not happen. We should have counted on their cowardice and unwillingness to fight...
So we pushed on with the vanguard. I had originally simply intended to wait for the rest of the army to arrive, but I realized you were involved in courtship of ladies and did not want to disturb.

So I had the option of going into battle or waiting, my Beef given impetus nature decided on the former. I marched in unopposed into the northern steppes, the people of the kingdom fled when they saw our small but well disciplined force.

However, eventually we did see the forces of the pizza khaan. Our scouts gave us information on their position and gave us the following choice:

You see the army of the Hungry Horde, laying a defensive formation on the higher ground.

Forcing your army to advance could make you pay high casualties.

We wait for your command :bow:

But by the Beef and how I was made, my nature told me fight! Even if we were to lose, we would deal a great blow against the heretics. Then the follow up army would come and mop them up.

Praise the Beef that was not even needed, as we won against all odds, against an encamped enemy in his own lands, with a smaller force. Truly this is nothing but a sign of the divine bovine!

This is a world where thousands make their homes, where the Sun rises at Dawn and falls at Dusk, where brute force, no matter how intelligently chosen, can always be mastered by a smaller force wielding weapons which might be deemed... useless against the superior force.

If tactics aren't used, don't matter, rock paper scissors, etc...

why ask me what tactics I am supposed to be using? Second, how does that make anyone smarter? Random chance I accept, but that does not equal intelligence. Finally, I feel at least one of the hosts has misrepresented how things work. It should have been made clear that, in spite of allied forces nearby with excellent shocktroops, knowledge of gunpowder, home field advantage, traps laid, tactics used, hardened veteran forces rather than a strong economy, the high ground, and no way of the pikemen to reach me, I could lose the battle due to one cannon shot. It does a disservice to the legitimacy of the game when orders are ignored, rules are misrepresented, armies are ignored, and nothing is taken into account but rock, paper, scissors. Especially when if that is the case, YLC's army should have also been taken into account, and his armies could have crushed Reenk's. If it is nothing but RPS, it needs to be stated plainly. Had my forces engaged his, let's say, and were slaughtered en masse by pincer movements and pikemen, and had the foreknowledge to avoid my traps, and the manpower to overwhelm me somehow... anything... it would have made sense. If what you're saying is true, there is no way my forces, regardless of strategy, can defeat a pikemen army, which is ridiculous, as mounted and mobile horsemen with archers can outrun, harass, encircle, harry, flank, and yes, light ablaze, masses of pikemen. But apparently battle hardened armies run from battle like mewling infants at the sound of a cannon.

Right, I see lots of questions unanswered and lots of complaints about the battle, as I expected.

The original idea of the templates were ditched as long as the army were not incredibly overpowered.
In Greyblades case, his army is balanced by the extremely small number, and loses most of their power once their building thing is destroyed. If they lose the building they will be doomed. You might need to tweak the archers and the toughness of the building a little, but other then that, you are fine.

YLC also balanced his units by making it inflexible, and inaccurate.

So in trums of armies, everyone has a good chance.

As for complaints from ATPG, it appears that I did not count the pms from the night before, thus completely forgetting about their formation etc. Which is a complete mistake on my part. But the good news is, you didn't get much casualties and you are just going to re organize your army in the safer location.

Also it did have a little to do with hosts biasedness of giving everyone a equal chance of glory and fun. However, as it will take months and months to finish the game that way, I will be slowly killing you guys off. Starting now, strategy matters more then the Rock Paper Scissors.

I can't allow your changes in your armies except a little tweaking but I assure you, everyone has a good chance of victory as long as their strategy are details and outwitting your opponent

I will commence writing Greyblades scene shortly. He didn't meet much resistance as most of the Aresea soldiers were busy fighting the Consulate. So I thought its more suitable to add that in just before the meeting phase.

What happened during the battle...

Under a vague moon light, dolphin and the shark spotted a large numbers of galleys and trading boats approaching the north east shores of Aresea

"Hey who goes there!!??" Shouted the Shark.
"Careful brother. They might be one of the Consulate bastards ship."
"No need.. Look at the mark. Its trading boat and their guards from Decapodia and Buranda."

So this is it the new home of the people once called exile. Success... was costly but now we have land to stand on that isnt under threat of imminent attack. All this just for one mans dream, or delusion, of two religions getting along. Its failure is now apparant and the vegitarians have been converted or asked to leave for our former "freinds". The church probably wanted us to kill them but they are still our people and we still protect those who gave us aid when no one else would. I'm sorry, but this last part seems like a threat against my dear sister. Is that true? Because, we don't really negotiate with terrorists.

And Frankly, my dear, those conditions are unacceptable to Beefdom. The lands of the consulate may have a semi autonomous standing. And small regional elections would occur. However, the officials would actually have to be elected by the people... not whatever sham method is being used up there now. Also, any major officials would of course be appointed by the king. Troop demands, of course are also a matter of the state, which would be Beefdom. As these become a major economic strain on any political entity, we would not be able to allow you more than a cursory state policing force. As far as your body guard, well you'll have to take that up with the head of the Beefdom Bodyguard Guild, Brunhilda Crushem, as they have a monopoly on such thing.

And... thank your people for the offer of their food for me. Our chefs always enjoy a good challenge.

OOC: As there is no set amount of troops or unit sizes in each faction, I think that individual units shouldn't be traded. But maybe we can instead trade technology; like gunpowder, chemical warheads or whatever you have outfitted our troops that no-one else has.

And Frankly, my dear, those conditions are unacceptable to Beefdom. The lands of the consulate may have a semi autonomous standing. And small regional elections would occur. However, the officials would actually have to be elected by the people... not whatever sham method is being used up there now. Also, any major officials would of course be appointed by the king. Troop demands, of course are also a matter of the state, which would be Beefdom. As these become a major economic strain on any political entity, we would not be able to allow you more than a cursory state policing force. As far as your body guard, well you'll have to take that up with the head of the Beefdom Bodyguard Guild, Brunhilda Crushem, as they have a monopoly on such thing.

And... thank your people for the offer of their food for me. Our chefs always enjoy a good challenge.

Exiles now has the entire land where Aresea used to be.

Kingdom of Greater Reenk and Lesser Roink are about half way in the Hungry hordes of Pizza Khaan

Aresea is now in the land of the exiles, and Buranda also gets a bit of land in the exiles.

Rest are the same I believe.

Although as few battles are yet to be solved, I think its better to do it next turn.

from what my pidgeon from beefy tells me, it seems that i was denied access to your kingdom, and since only inquisitors were sent, i assume that my inquisitors were denied. i will double check with the host to see what he means.

and also, pizza is a not a veggy, i checked on him and so he's cleared.

Tunaface runs out of water and becomes dry, a third diplomat gets into the ring room as a new replacement, this one known as Ugnaki-Fishroller, a lizard but a suspect and an easily seduced diplomat.


He looks at The consulates representative and his jaw dropped from the beauty, what was ugly to a tuna was clearly attractive to a lizard, his tongue stretched out towards lady lacy & he wrapped her in it, Lady lacy thought she as either being assaulted or raped, however in the lands of the lizards this was merely a kind greeting.

Soon he spoke, clearly illiterate.

He then turned to the king of beefdom and saliva gushed out of his month and onto King Yoyoma's lap, again offensive for the King but a sign of respect for reptiles.

Then finally he scraped some underbelly slime off with his claw and combed the burandian's hair with it, again a sign of respect for lizards but the burandian was not amused.
