No, once everyone has sent in orders, stats, and are acclimated and watching the thread, I'll ramp up the speed to get things moving. No excuses after the first round.
 I look forward to it
Am I right in thinking this is point based, i.e: you could still win even if you only last half way, provided you have killed zillions of people in the process?
Like would the end result be blah de blah wins with 900 points
followed by
---- 800
---- 700
etc etc?
By the way, how does one become full member? Having 10 PM spaces is very chilling...

I'd like to help that process along a bit. I am wondering who here in this game is still a junior member... I'd want to compile a list and beg beg beg for a favor and get them all promoted to full membership, as new soldiers in the Pizzaguy army, fresh meat for the zombies to eat, plaga fodder, and generally future corpses with a rather dim future as the undead, unless they get extremely lucky.

Well there's a graded system... from Total victory to total defeat, draw in the middle, and overwhelming to partial to minor victories/defeats in the middle regions.
Based on how many of your goals you completed, and how many persons you killed or saved, etc. Since some players have an easier time scoring "points" because they can kill things better, I have the graded system there so that you can still score a total victory even without killing too many people.

See now that's just the sort of thing I have so say no about. Frowny face. :embarassed:
This is borderline... I don't want anyone to make such announcements about their potential strategy or meeting places or anything of the sort, and certainly not imply that they aren't a mercenary (as that helps narrow down who is who...) or that you're seeking alliances. This isn't an egregious error or anything, but be wary of the line.
I think I'm okay with people saying things like "wouldn't it be nice to have a tank and blast some zombies?" but I am hoping this isn't code or a loophole for "meet me at the tanks". Careful careful.
Well I'm sure it's going to be more difficult than just walking up to a Tank and getting in...

If you both stand and fight, with no retreat orders, one of you gonna die. Welcome to the jungle.
edit- to be specific, battle continues until you one or both of you dies, or run out of bullets and strangle each other to death. There are unlimited combat rounds in a phase if you don't run.

They do have until Tuesday at midnight EST to send in orders. I am getting some of the stragglers telling me I should have their orders ASAP.

Awesome.
I just want to make sure I have got this all down.
First part of the Orders phase is the movement sub-phase.
In this part, players may choose to move to a new location within there movement range or they may perform a ‘movement’ action.
Commands for this sub-phase are ‘Move to XYZ’, Engage Target, Snipe, Search Thoroughly & Stealth
*Some of these action have prerequisites such as holding a long range weapon or a target being in you zone of control.
Second part of the Orders phase is the action sub-phase.
IF you decide to move to another location you must choose an action to perform at the new location.
Commands for this phase are: Berserker, Assassinate, Vigilante, Stealth Vigilante, Defensive, Stealth, Search quickly & Cooperate.
*The above actions are not available if you have chosen one of the following moment commands: Engage Target, Snipe, Search Thoroughly & Stealth.
Third part of the Orders phase is the Battle Mode sub-phase.
This phase decides your actions if you are engaged in a battle after the movement phase. The two available commands are: Run Away & Stand Ground.
____________________________________
I do have some questions that lead from this.
What happens when two people decide to use the ‘Engage target’ movement command against each other? Will they each perform one round of combat or fight to the death or perhaps will this be decided by what they have decided by their battle mode setting?
I am guessing it is possible to do hit and runs. Aka go into berserker mode hit everybody with a first strike and set battle mode to run away so that you run away when you are counter attacked (if the target has ‘Stand Ground’ mode set)
What happens if two people move to the same square with Berserker mode set? Is it the detail of the orders that decides who hit’s who, dice or what the battle mode is set to?
How does group combat differ? What happens if I am in a group of 5 allies and we all arrive at the same square with vigilante mode set and there are a 2 zombies or non-humans present? Could our combined first strikes take them out?
What happens if it doesn’t and we all have our battle mode set to hold ground? Who attacks what? Do two allies fight against the two zombies while the other 3 twiddle their thumbs? Or will it be 5 attacks on one zombie then 5 on the next?
Sorry for all the questions :juggle2:

Commands for this sub-phase are ‘Move to XYZ’, Engage Target, Snipe, Search Thoroughly & Stealth

This is correct. You have some moves you can do in place of movement (Engage target, Snipe) or you can do while moving or not moving (Stealth, cooperation, Search... the usual suspects)
Well you can quick search, which is smiliar, and you can stealth in either one. It's complicated, but you got the gist of what my ideas were. I wish I were better at explaining them ... :laugh4:
Third part of the Orders phase is the Battle Mode sub-phase.
This phase decides your actions if you are engaged in a battle after the movement phase. The two available commands are: Run Away & Stand Ground.
Yes. You tell me if and when you run away, or I assume that you do run away immediately. Otherwise you could find yourself dead due to misspeaking. Standing your ground is if you really think you can win a battle, or if you have a bunch of your buddies who can also fight well standing ground with you. Running away can scatter your party if you have one, but it beats death.
I do have some questions that lead from this.
What happens when two people decide to use the ‘Engage target’ movement command against each other? Will they each perform one round of combat or fight to the death or perhaps will this be decided by what they have decided by their battle mode setting?
If they engage target at each other, they will definitely battle, and they will run if and when one of them says so.
I am guessing it is possible to do hit and runs. Aka go into berserker mode hit everybody with a first strike and set battle mode to run away so that you run away when you are counter attacked (if the target has ‘Stand Ground’ mode set)
Exactly. Hit and run could be very useful.
What happens if two people move to the same square with Berserker mode set? Is it the detail of the orders that decides who hit’s who, dice or what the battle mode is set to?
In case of no first strike being gained, neither has the first strike and they simply battle each other simultaneously.
How does group combat differ? What happens if I am in a group of 5 allies and we all arrive at the same square with vigilante mode set and there are a 2 zombies or non-humans present? Could our combined first strikes take them out?
It is possible!
What happens if it doesn’t and we all have our battle mode set to hold ground? Who attacks what? Do two allies fight against the two zombies while the other 3 twiddle their thumbs? Or will it be 5 attacks on one zombie then 5 on the next?
Every person on each team scores a strike against every person on the other.
1 versus 3 means the one guy attacks three different people. The three all attack the one person. So there's 3 hits on one side, 3 hits on the other side, but the team side is hit once per person and the loner gets hit 3 times.
If the one loner really kicks butt at combat, it's possible for him or her to annihilate the other 3.
However, the one guy will probably take damage due to the number of hits he takes.
You can die quick in this game if you get attacked by a horde of stuff.
Sorry for all the questions :juggle2:
I prefer the questions answered, than anyone feeling lost or confused. I want you to be confident and enthusiastic in what you do. :2thumbsup:

If any of you did send in stats or actions, I apologize but could you please re-send? I already double checked my inbox and my message archive and I didn't find them.
Reminder: Round ends in less than 11 hours, at midnight tonight. I will continue to accept your orders tomorrow while I am doing the writeup phase, but they are considered late. Absolute deadline is midnight tomorrow, because I intend to have the writeup and the action reports done by midnight tomorrow. If you were to interact with other players or battle or whatever, it could affect other player's action reports, so every late order delays the reports for several people, which therefore delays the game for everyone.
It's always like this man, you will always have inactives. It's inevitable.

The number of actually inactive is surprisingly low. It's just that some of our actives haven't gotten around to their orders yet I suppose.
But if your friend is willing to be a replacement player, by all means... I need more just in case. A few of our alternates are pretty busy IRL.

Update-
:laugh4:
I did not anticipate this much work. Unfortunately the writeup will have to wait for tomorrow, as I am still chewing through the character cards and results. So yes, this writeup phase is extended for 24 hours, or until I post the writeup in the game thread... which will hopefully be sooner.
Sorry for the delay, still getting the hang of this. Presently 10 of you have your cards; the results are done but I have to manually update each one and that takes time. I'm almost done but I won't make this deadline and I need a quick break, too.

Suggestion - give everyone 36 hour turns, while leaving yourself with 24 hour ones. This way, everything runs smoother.

OK I made it up to roughly half of the players who now have their updated character card. (30)
I am doing them roughly alphabetically (sorry Zain, YLC, Yaseikhaan, and the others... :tongue2:) however I did skip a couple for various reasons that I have to go back and do, due to technical issues on my end. I also skipped those who haven't send in orders at all, obviously. But I am calling it quits for the night as we're approaching 3:30AM and I have RL things I have to take care of (Sleep? Chores?) and therefore, don't wait up if you haven't gotten your card yet. Expect me to get back to work this evening after I get some rest. I believe I will have gotten the hang of this by the next time this rolls around, but I see clearly now that in order to update each card and check it for mistakes, it is taking me between 10-15 minutes per card. Whoops! That's a lot of time. Obviously I may need to make the writeup phases 48 hours on a permanent basis, which would kind of stink, but I realize that there's just no way to make it go any faster, and there are no more corners to cut and no more efficent ways of doing it. I will probably have to do it like this: At midnight when phases end, I'll get to work... spend until daybreak working on it, get some rest, and then work on it when I get up, and try to pack as much in before the second day.
Maybe if I get a rhythm down I can squeeze it back into 24 hours, but probably not before a bunch of people die.
But guess what? We have our first battle coming up, which will be in the writeup. :eyebrows: I wonder if someone's life is about to end tonight...

Frequently asked questions;
How much ammunition do i have? just the (censored) bullets in the chamber? Let me know whenever time permits
You only get so many bullets. When you run out of bullets, you're out for exactly 1 phase (15 mins) unless otherwise specified. Then you miraculously find more bullets, and you're ready to go. Effectively unlimited bullets, but it simulates the scarcity of ammo.

In theory I would begin the next phase, yes. But please don't hound the players to get their orders in, that's my job. And there's really no way to rush people into doing them... since it is a game they are doing it for fun, and usually people don't need much motivation to have fun. If they haven't sent in orders, I assume they are busy.
Basically, if you tried to rush people they wouldn't enjoy the game anymore because it becomes a hassle. If they go inactive too long I replace them; if I don't have replacements, I'll turn them into a zombie and have random.org control them. No big whoop.

Any weapon which fires bullets or any other limited amount of projectiles has effectively unlimited ammunition. No weapon in this game "runs out" of bullets, in the strictest sense.
HOWEVER, every weapon has a realistic/semi-realistic amount of bullets in the chamber, and when they are GONE, you're "out" until you "find more ammo" which takes a pre-determined and set amount of time, to simulate the scarcity of ammunition, when there really is an unlimited amount. That way you don't have to search for ammo, trade for ammo, or worry about ammo in any way except "should I waste all my bullets in combat this phase, or should I flee when I am almost out..." and if you use it up, you have to wait until you can reload, which means you could be effectively disarmed for a phase unless you have multiple weapons.
Make sense?
You have unlimited ammo, everyone does... but there's also a built-in simulation of the scarcity of ammo, where you can still run out temporarily.
I have a question or two...
When people become zombies, will they drop their items/weapons?
If not - will you be able to loot killed zombies?
When anyone dies for any reason, they immediately drop their entire inventory. Then after a phase of inactivity, they become a zombie (no matter what you do to their body- realism be darned, I WILL have zombies in this game, you cannot prevent it, you all-too-clever people! :laugh4:)
However, you've got to remember to search the body. In this case, that's as simple as when you're telling me you want to kill people, you mention that you rifle through their pockets or check them for weapons, whatever. It doesn't take an additional turn.
If you forget to search the body, I will assume you didn't want their weapons that badly. Killing is not the same as stealing, those are separate functions unless you specify. :laugh4:
Zombies as a general rule will be carrying nothing, and won't have any weapons unless I decide they are getting totally pwned by the townspeople and are no longer a threat. Then I have to make them a threat again.
Turn 2 orders sent in. Yay!

Potential headaches involving cooperation mode:
Player A uses cooperation mode, Player B does not, perhaps they were using search/vigilante/stealth/etc mode... are they allied yet? No, unfortunately.
Player B was in search mode, not co-op mode, so it looks like you'd have to move in the same direction (stay in each other's zone of control) and both use co-op mode.
See what search mode does is allow you to look for useful items; if I combine that with cooperation mode, then everyone would search/cooperate and nothing else, which would break the game, since there's no risk involved and no cost, and it would therefore automatically be the correct move... There's gotta be a risk or a price when you want to make an alliance, and that risk is you're betting one phase of play on the trustworthiness of your new friend. And if there's no one there returning your "cooperation" then it is a lost round of play.
I want you to know that I didn't intend for this aspect of the game to be such a headache. It makes sense from the standpoint of gameplay and balance; if everyone can make an alliance with whoever they meet at no real cost or risk, then everyone will, and there will be no challenge in the game itself. However, implementing that policy, from the player's perspective, may be less than fun.
What I might suggest is that players don't use cooperation mode until they've already met someone and negotiated the alliance, then they just have to expend a phase putting it into effect. That would lower the risk of firing cooperation mode blindly, without greatly affecting game balance or even changing the rules.
I hope this explains the underlying difficulties, and also presents a remedy to the situation. Because this game is meant to be more about fun than red tape, let me know if this isn't a satisfactory response/solution to your situation.
So when we find a player in our awarness zone that we would like to ally with, we send them a PM (because we are within talking distance)?

So when we find a player in our awarness zone that we would like to ally with, we send them a PM (because we are within talking distance)?
Yes, and then next round either you both stay put or both move together, in cooperation mode.
EDIT: No, your zone of control, actually.
This minor pain in the buttocks makes it slightly difficult (on purpose) for you to gain allies in this game. It makes you more vulnerable for a phase and deprives you of as many weapons as you might have been able to find. That's the cost and risk aspect. The benefits thereafter may be worth it though.
I hope this is a fair stumbling block. We will see how it goes. If there's a lot of backlash against this policy then I may change it, but then I'd have to make the bad guys stronger to compensate.

Do we need to move to the square the items are after doing a thorough search of your control area? E.g. you discover an item on a square different from the one you currently stand in. Or does a thorough search also involve moving around in your control zone picking up stuff?

A thorough search boils down to: Instead of moving, I search all the squares around me. If you want to think of this as being accomplished by quickly moving to all those squares and then moving back to your original square, that might help. If you search thoroughly, you will pick up anything you find automatically.
No actual movement happens, but you can think of it as such.

I think I need orders from:
A Very Super Market (odd, since he's been active...)
Amsel
Captain Blackadder (also strange)
Confederate Jeb
Karo
King Jan III Sobieski
Leet Eriksson
Also my replacement players, hence the extension. To be honest I also need more time for myself to get situated; I like to deal with the random item/weapon generation process before I deal with the move/battle orders, and then I know what everyone's results are and it's the machine-like work of sending out 62 cards. That last part takes up half the time, but I believe it will be cut down a bit this phase because I have everyone's character card on file, I don't have to go digging for them this time.

To make it simpler for you GB, this is all you need to do.
1. Where are you? Which square are you headed to? [Quick reference to what speed allows]
2. What mode are you in? Are you going to berserk? Vigilante? Cooperation? Etc?
1. Berserker - Kill anything you see who isn't a known ally of yours.
(Automatically gets a first strike against all targets in your grid location)
2. Assassinate - Try to kill anyone you see while in stealth mode. This is basically the same thing as Berserker, but you try to get the drop on them while engaged in stealth. If you defeat them, you will still be in stealth mode! The risk here is that they spot you coming and attack first.
(This gives a first strike to any opponent who wins the awareness check against your stealth rating, but if they fail, you have an automatic first strike against them in your grid location)
3. Vigilante - Kill anything that doesn't look human
(Targets zombies and other non-human creatures in a first strike, but doesn't fire first on humans or things that look human in your grid location)
4. Stealth Vigilante - Kill anything that doesn't look human while in stealth mode. After combat, you will return to stealth mode.
(This gives a first strike to any opponent who wins the awareness check -in your grid location- against your stealth rating, but if they fail, you have a automatic first strike against non-human creatures. You do not attack any humans.)
5. Defensive - Kill anything that attacks you.
(Doesn't gain a first strike against anyone, but automatically returns fire against anyone who attacks you in your grid location, adds to your defense rolls.)
6. Stealth- Hide from everyone; pure stealth mode.
(This gives a first strike to any opponent in your grid location who wins the awareness check against your stealth rating, but if they fail, you remain hidden and do not attack them.)
7. Search quickly- Search this grid location for anything you can find.
(This is useful if you don't intend to stay in this location for longer than one round, but it only searches one square instead of nine. Basically a "search on the move" order)
8. Cooperate- Seek alliance with anyone who also seeks alliance.
(Automatically gives first strike to your opponent, who can use this to attack you in your grid location. If they also seek alliance, you will never automatically attack them, you must order the attack manually. Anyone who sees you in their awareness radius will know you seek an alliance)
3. When do you run from combat? When your vitality hits X? When you lose Y%? Or when you are faced with overwhelming enemies? Your choice
4. Detailed combat orders, if any. Perhaps utilizing your terrain?
Either way, a quick 15 minutes or so read at Post #2 of the game thread in the "How to Play" section should do the trick and you should get the hang of it by the next order phase :2thumbsup:
Hope this helps, most of this info can be found either scattered through the discussion phase, or neatly arranged in the post comprising of useful and relevant information from pizza.

The legend of the map should also prove useful if your intending to do some things, or point of references to head to

Yes Greyblades; one thing I've noticed is the amount of information I've provided makes things look complicated. And there has been in practice a rule or two that has resulted in "huh?" reactions from people. Mostly this is in regards to what cooperation mode is and how it works, which was addressed within the last several posts, not too long ago.
However, it all boils down to 3 bits of useful information I need from you every round:
1. Are you moving or not, and if so, to where?
2. What mode are you in when you get there? (See list in previous post) Basically this means what are you doing and how do you react to the people you meet.
3. Do you run from battle, and if so, when do you do so? You can be very specific.
example:
1) Move 3 squares south
2) search mode
3) Run away as soon as there is battle
And if you wanted to be more detailed with your orders, you can tell me how you'd react to certain situations, or what weapons you'd use to fight, and how do you use them. You could even set up booby traps with found items in this game... be creative and I will try to accommodate you as best I can. But it's not necessary to send in a legal order.
Ugh, sorry for not sending in orders, ATPG: I've been hit with a series of (bizarrely) unrelated connection problems lasting for about a week and a half now, and have, unfortunately, been unable to get online for about 72 hours up until this moment.
I will send you something, but if it's too late, fair enough.

I was wondering though, will the detail given in orders make any difference in how a situation will end up or will they only affect the write up?

It can affect a battle, depending on what you do and what they do. But usually it won't, and if it did it wouldn't affect it that much. Maybe add 1 to defense for a round or protect against 1 damage point or what have you.
No matter how skilled your writing, you'll never make a frail dude with no gun kill everything. Gotta roll the dice really, really well for that.
quick question:
when does this phase end and so therefore when do we expect writeups? i'm a bit confused with the timing atm since i've not really been looking around on the org much :sweatdrop:

This phase was extended for 24 hours, and will end in approximately 5 hours.
I have everyone's items and weapon drops done,
I have all the battles complete (unless there are more from my players who haven't sent in orders)
I know basically what happens for everyone in the game that has sent in orders.
So I am already halfway done... writeup phase officially begins in 5 hours, and won't end until everyone has their phase 2 result character cards. Expect it to be finished within 48 hours from then, I predict this will go a lot smoother this time. No guarantees on getting it done in 24 for I am aiming for it. I want to keep it moving. Definitely in 48 hours though... then Phase 3 begins.

Whooooo* :sweatdrop: :sweatdrop: :sweatdrop: :sweatdrop:
That's everyone besides about... 5 players (except for the inactive 3). I absolutely need to stop, there's no way to do this in one sitting. I could do the other 5 but I said that for the last 2 hours... just a few more, just a few more. There's no special reason why you 5 haven't gotten your card back. To tell the truth, it can be as simple as I was in a rhythm and something was out of place... a misplaced character card, a battle that I needed to roll, or something I wasn't creatively ready to write. Sorry for the delay. It helps me make sure I do yours right.
Today, after I rest, the remaining 5 get their cards, and I do the massive public writeup for phase 2. I don't estimate this will be done until this afternoon or later.
 Sleep now Pizza man, and be good, my players. Don't create spam that my friends the gameroom moderators have to delete. Discussion is fine, comment welcome; off-topic not so great.
ALSO: If I somehow messed up your card, please let me know. If you have a question, ask me please. I make mistakes, I try to minimize them, but I'm human and this is just inhuman amounts of work.
One quick question about reloading.
I understand the concept, what I was wondering though is if this only applies to one battle or carries over to the next battle? Say that I used 5 bullets of my baretta in one phase, will I then be starting the next phase with 5 bullets left or do I reload in between the phases?
I thought it meant in one phase, you only shoot that many shots as a limit. Is there a reloading function which you have to order or something, in the game?
Major Robert Dump
12-08-2009, 19:47
No. You will reload automatically. You also have unlimited ammo, but the reload is slowed down to similate scarcity of ammo, so you are ojnly allowed a certain amount of ammo per round of combat. If you want to use some sort of special firing technique, like 3 round bursts or 2 center mass-1 head, etc, tell ATPG and he will implement it

I guess if you asked pizza to, he could let you reload whenever you want, but obviously at the cost of not being able to combat that round

from the way i see the rules, pizza said that guns can be fire X amount of times per phase. I assume that most pistols will be shooting 1 bullet per phase, and that is the "speed" of firing as pizza puts it. the above would probably not be available on all guns. but yea reloading should be automatic
Speed: 1 bullet per combat round.
so using the pistol as an example, if you have a pistol and you enter combat; for that phase you can only shoot 1 bullet max. after your magazine runs out of bullets (10 shots), you cannot attack in the next phase as you will be reloading your gun. the phase after reloading everything returns to normal.
As for other guns (i assume there to be assault rifles and such) the number of bullets you can fire depends on your gun's speed. if it says 5 then you can shoot 5 bullets in one phase.
it makes sense from a hosting point of view
Pretty much Askthepizzaguy has taken a game based around a popular fiction apocalyptic storyline and added in a Battle Royale setting (Which I regret missing, sorry Zain). ATPG has added in rules to regulate the game, to balance the threats with the advantages, and to make it possible for anyone to win. By limiting ammo, trigger-time, and movement speed everyone is being held by the same rules, and so therefore has leveled the playing field. Now it comes down to the individual's decision making skills in conjunction with the host-induced luck of the draw.
In all reality, some will fail greatly because of lack of experience. Others will fail because of bad luck. Then you have the group that succeed, those will be the lucky and skilled. I submit I predict Cultured Drizzt fan at least to do well, due to his performance in Zain's Battle Royale.
I on the other hand predict failure due to my obvious inexperience in a BR setting. I am, however, using as much common sense as possible to stir away from danger and keep myself alive and well. My fate lies in someone else's hands. Not my favorite thought, but it's true.
I greatly admire Askthepizzaguy for hosting such an encumbersome game. Crunching the numbers, and sending out everyone an individual PM must be a task only for the gifted and patient.
I also admire many other hosts, namely Zain for using his creativity in his games and coming up with ideas that are new to the .Org and GeneralHankerchief for hosting the "Pirate Ship Mafia" which was a huge event as well.
Thank you to all hosts, I enjoy your games, and although I know I could never be near as successful as the three I mentioned and the rest of the usual hosts that are not mentioned, I will someday host a non-mafia game of a chosen topic I have had in my mind for many years now.
That is all for now,
Ephrum

This is not quite correct, You are mixing up the terms phase and combat rounds.
Phase refers to the 15 min blocks that we perform our actions in.
Combat round refers to each round of combat in which an attack is made and dice rolled to calculate hit, miss, damage etc.
Theoretically if a pistol has a 10 round clip and fires 1 bullet per combat round, it is possible to use up all the bullets in the clip during a phase. Though it is most probable that combat will not last 10 rounds as someone would have died or ran away well before then imo.

Was it made clear how many combat rounds there could be per phase? To me it seems like in 15 minutes a lot of shots can be fired, so I'm guessing unlimited rounds.

Honestly I have a deep feeling that my former experiance in BR will not give too much of an advantage this game. Back in BR I worked alone and silently eliminated my opponents using my superior stealth and tactics. It worked mostly because I was able to hide easily, and my opponents had a very tough time seeing me before my dagger was in their back. Here is is a whole new game., not the least of which because of the change in scenery. Here in a huge city stealth loses some of its appeal, and the fact that the real opponents we have, the zombies, can not be fooled by simply hiding. Guns also add a new dimension of the game, making my old style horribly outdated.
And lets not forget this is a much more cooperative game, no going lone wolf this time. also, win is not based on killing everyone else, Which changes dynamics a lot.
However that is not to say I plan on dying off early. I am willing to adapt to the new setting, and we will see how things go down. :beam:
In all, I love these games, and I really respect the hosts who take their time to bring us all such great games :2thumbsup: One day when I get better at hosting I may make one myself. But There is just so much that would need to be done, it boggles the mind.

A practitioner of Kung Fu, can easily learn to be great at gymanstics. So therefore I believe you will do fine, I guess in the long run we will find out who is the best.
And hosting seems fun, but full of work. It's probably very interesting to see the game mechanics spit out the results too rather than just see the results.
It seems like ATPG's game and GH's games are mechanics related and Zain's are not. How did that seem to work out for Zain?

One quick question about reloading.
I understand the concept, what I was wondering though is if this only applies to one battle or carries over to the next battle? Say that I used 5 bullets of my baretta in one phase, will I then be starting the next phase with 5 bullets left or do I reload in between the phases?
This is a good question, as I see many others are also fuzzy on the concept.
In battle, you have either a first strike combat round (one player attacks the other, no counterattack) or none, and it proceeds to the second combat round.
There are as many combat rounds as it takes before one of you dies or flees, all contained within the 15-minute "phase".
You could have 20 combat rounds in a phase if the battle lasted that long.
You must use up ALL the bullets you have before you can reload. 0 bullets in the chamber, then you wait until you "find" more bullets and you have successfully reloaded.
Here's an example:
Phase 1: 4 bullets shot, 6 remain, cannot reload.
Phase 2: 4 bullets shot, 2 remain, cannot reload.
Phase 3: 2 bullets shot, none remain, reloading next phase.
Phase 4: reload; Gun useless.
Phase 5: 10 bullets reloaded, can use this phase.
