Hey everyone. I would like to remind everyone here of the latest iteration of the founding, most awesome franchise in the .org Mafia experience:

This is a game which is deceptively simple. A couple of scumbags, and a town filled with innocents who don't know anything. Only one faction will be left standing. In this game the town will have to rely purely on their analytical skills, or hope and pray for a miracle, because there's usually no special town power roles in GH's Mafia series. If you die, you can keep trying to solve the game. Don't give up... We still need like ten players. If you are willing to sign up and actually play, and you're interested in a game based purely on wits alone, this is the game for you. I challenge you to give it a try. Are you man/woman enough?

I have sent out full results to 9 people, and partial results to 14 people (those involved in the battle).

I still have to figure out the logistics of putting all the items up for grabs, finishing the results for those 14 people, and then I can move on to the other 11 people who will be MUCH easier to do, and the Zombie horde one.

Basically, I am halfway up Mount Everest. Once I am over the mountain, the other 12 PMs will be a snap. And apologies to everyone for the delay, but after the game I will show you the massive technical difficulties just setting up the battle was, nevermind rolling it, sending out results, etc.

I expect to be done with character cards/role PMs today, if I can stay focused. But Diana just had me do the lawn, trimming, and lugging around what had to be 50-pound plant pots filled with dirt. So my back is killing me and my hands are too.

Resident Evil Endgame

At some point in the near future in this game, there will be a drop in activity due to the fact that there are too few people covering too wide an area. Now, the game needs to be resolved, and I have a plan of action to make it so.

Please note: None of these changes take effect until at least phase 15, and then only with a 2/3 vote of the remaining living players.

Rate of movement increase: You will be able to move from a landmark to the nearest landmarks instantaneously.


Those at the Bio-lab/ North subway station can move to the Clock Tower, the Arklay Tunnel, Main Street Subway Station, and the Police Station in one turn.
Those at the Clock Tower can move to the Bio-Lab, the Cemetery, the Arklay Tunnel, and the Police Station in one turn.
Those at the Arklay Tunnel can move to the Bio-Lab, the Cemetery, and Dark Falls in one turn.
Those at the Police Station can move to the Main gate, the Hospital, the Bio-lab, the Main Street Subway Station, and the Clock Tower in one turn.
Those at the Hospital can move to the Main Gate, the Police Station, and the Church in one turn.
Those at the Church can move to the Hospital, Main Street Subway station, the City Hall, the South Bridge, and the Water Treatment Plant in one turn.
Those at the South Bridge can move to the Church and the Water Treatment Plant in one turn.
Those at the Water Treatment Plant can move to the South Bridge, the Church, and City Hall in one turn.
Those at City Hall can move to the Church, the Main Street Subway Station, the Water Treatment Plant, the Military Base, and the Tank Yard in one turn.
Those at the Military Base can move to the Hangar, Tank Yard, and City Hall in one turn. They can also move to Dark Falls in two turns.
Those at Dark Falls can move to the Cemetery, Arklay Tunnel in one turn. They can also move to the Military base in two turns.
Those at the Tank Yard/Hangar can move to the Military Base and City Hall in one turn.
Those at the Main Street Subway Station can move to the Church, Police Station, City Hall, and the Bio-lab in one turn.
Those at the Main Gate can move to the Police Station and the Hospital in one turn.


Line of Sight increase: Everyone will be able to see an additional tile distance away from where they are, no matter how much or how little awareness you have.

Aftermath: When there are no more factions remaining who wish to leave, the remaining factions will fight it out.

They will be allowed to move only from landmark to landmark until the game is over, and they will be automatically transported to the nearest landmark.

None of these will be implemented this phase. But, I believe phase 15 might be a good time to start. So you would have 2 phases, 13 and 14, of normal game activity before the changes are implemented.

Also, I won't make these changes unless you guys vote on it by a 2/3 majority, the earliest time this can be implemented is phase 15.

I can't believe I stumbled across Seon at one point when I was all on my own -- very lucky for me he had more important things to do at the time.

I'm really happy with how this turned out, with two (and a half) exceptions:
-- that I never managed to actually hit a bad guy with any of my weapons (minus the improvised bomb I chucked at Khazaar) despite quite adequate combat rating. I had a CHAINSAW, people! So much gory fun could have been had ...
-- that Dickie couldn't escape with us. Seriously bummed about that. Couldn't have done it without him; the old hobo deserved better.

And the half exception, that I'm not still playing. :) Have fun, everybody.

Honestly, though, if there are only like 3 guys left and they all hate each other you could just make them have a Battle Royale. And by the time there are very few people left you'll have a lot more time freed up from writing character cards and such.

It may simply be my vantage point as the game host which suggests that the game wouldn't be impacted much if it were sped up a bit, and my perfect knowledge of the current setup of the game which allows me to sense that the game might begin to drag in the next few phases.

However, I agree that there isn't enough demand for the game to be changed to warrant such a move. And it is everyone's game, not just mine, so I am perfectly happy leaving it the way it is.

Here's what I've done for this phase so far:


I have accepted all your orders and added them to my files.
From your orders, I have moved everyone that I can move, and made a map for phase 13.
I have randomized your item and weapon drops.
I have randomized an event.
I've reminded the zombie horde to send in orders and I now have default orders for the horde. Thanks, Diamondeye.
Those who didn't send in orders but have allies will move with their allies, in default mode (defense mode).


Still to come:


I need to set up and roll the battles. One of them will be rather large, but still easy to roll. The other will be a difficult battle to roll.
I will send out character cards after that. Should be easy to send out character cards from now on, due to the dwindling numbers of living players.

If you examine the technical results of the battle carefully, the final zombie that got to attack you on that combat round very, very nearly didn't kill you. You rolled a 53.... you would have survived with a 50.

Survived long enough to annihilate the rest of them, anyway. They still would have killed you, but hey. Very close. Very close.

Not bad for someone with a combat rating of 2...... :sweatdrop:

That's what you get for attacking large townie groups. There hasn't been a successful case of bosses attacking large townie groups and surviving. Unless you want to count El Gigante. But he also winded up dead.

sometimes even combat of 9 and luck 7 wont get you anywhere...heavy damage for me in every round of combat and opponents just waltz by.

The Umbrella mercenary was nearly dead when I found him iirc. The rest seems to be entirely luck on my part, plus the trap and grenade helped a lot.

I'd advise for any zombie/Omega/Tyrant/non-human to run for safety should they encounter large groups of humans, not really the other way around. When humans become pissed off, they actively go out to exterminate those who were supposed to exterminate humans.
