Day 1 summery

After hearing everybody speak, the rat has decided that the cat was the impostor.
Hearing this, cat argued back furiously.

"Fumeow! This is absurd! I demand a democracy! I demand equality and justice!"
Calmly the turtle stood up and replied.

"Democracy isn't always the fair system. In these kind of situation where everyone is on the equal position, what separates us would be something trivial like looks, wits and lack of hatred against the fellow. In democratic method of majority rules, members like sharks, rats, crocodiles, humans, bears etc... Those who eats and those who rules would be disadvantaged. So while it won't be the best, this method where random member amongst us would decide who is to be lynched would be slightly better method then the one that cat proposed"

Everyone in the room went "oo" and nodded in agreement. Even the cat for one moment. Immediately realizing that he is in danger, he decided to gamble on his final move.



This worked wonders on couple of members. Especially the human who was completely melted by it. Pleading the innocence of the cat.

"Look Mr rat. This cute little thing can't possibly be the dog or the snake."

The rat shook his head and said
"Too bad human. See I am in charge of todays vote, and the rule book says I have the right to lynch the person I voted for. Rules are rules and without rules it would be anarchy and chaos. And finally, I for one would love the world without cats."

Suddenly cat found him self surrounded by army of rats. Everyone, even the big fellow like Bear who saw no threat in this dirty little thing was suddenly frightened by the presence of the army.. For long they have been mistreated by those who fears their past glory. Today the rats would show that they can mean trouble if they wants to. Sending a clear signal of warning with their eyes burning for revenge.

"I... the representative of all living rats and its cousins. Declares that this cat may be an impostor. In the name of the council of new Chinese Zodiac, he will meet death by rats."

Cat, whom have not lost his dignity bravely prepared for the fight.

"If you want me dead.... Come get me."



His body got larger and larger. Bake Neko or the ghost cat came back into the scene of history after over hundreds of years of silence.
Against this was armies of rats. Thousands and millions of rats, ready to greet the fearful ghost with pain and agony.



After a long battle, the ghost cat was finally decapitated by the rat with the little help from other power horses.
Slightly injured representative of the rat nodded at his comrades for the good work and dismissed the council.

"Hopefully we got one just then. Now stay safe tonight. Watch your back."

They retreated to their respective quarters, leaving the corpse of the dead cat.

Night 1 Summery



For a mad animal who joined a club which is planning to tip the world upside down by declaring war on those who rules the world, Pigeon was an pacifist.
He was often ignored and made fun of for his character, but he took it on well, telling him self that it is a necessary casualty to get a bunch of unique and very different animals together.

Whether if they knew this or not remains in a mystery. But the pigeon was chosen as the first casualty.
As soon as he noticed the danger he was in, he went ninja and made him self into thousand of different pigeons... Instead of just plain grey and white, there was red, blue and yellow pigeons as well just for kicks.. but it didn't stop the attacker.

One by one, the pigeon dropped dead. By the time other animals heard what was going on and ran to the scene, it was all over.

All animals got there just around the same time from different direction so the suspect remained unknown. They decided that the threat is far from over and chose the next leader.

They picked a name out of the box and decided the human to be the leader of the day.

It's random/secret, this time around. I'm suspicious of rat, personally. He was in the last Zodiac, and I thought he died, but somehow he's back. Besides, who'd suspect the rat of actually being the dog or the snake? I mean, most would disqualify him on size alone. But me, I smell a rat.

Interesting. One of the debates of the previous game was trying to figure out who would benefit the most from each night kill. It failed, but it did give us more information than this.

I'm still for random this round, not enough info to pick someone to die.

The randomised voting system works in our favour to some extent; while we're going to have to rely on in-thread behaviour more, the random aspect does make it tougher for the mafia to kill people and implicate them based on voting order, which is what Pizza/Joooray did to great effect in the last game.

I'd like to hear the input of others too; inactivity will only help the mafia and given that one of the victors last time won by lurking, I won't allow anyone to pass under the radar.

Right now we have a 1 in 5 chance of nailing the snake or dog. But if we keep doing that, it's going to get harder and harder to find post paterns and slip-ups the mafia will hopefully make. I guess random would be OK for another round, but I don't like the low level of discussion it's been generating.

Double A does make a fair point, and apparently he was the only one analyzing the posts.
Auto's post makes it look like that he is trying to divert attention.

Good choice as any I suppose. Next round, everyone not voting should propose a candidate and give some sort of reasoning as to why choose that person. If we don't do that, it will be easy for some people to slink in the background hoping to be overlooked.

Day 2 summery

The leader of the day... and the ruler of the world human chose the shark to be lynched.

Perhaps its the destiny of any influential figure, but anything that fellow does is expected to be met with eyes of suspicion and strong disagreement.
"Human, I hope its not the revenge of Jaws" calmly said the Shark. "I thought we've settled that before."
"No shark. Its nothing personal. I just chose you on random...And why would I hate you for the movie WE made?"
"Ok then. Is it because of shark fins? You want to make it in to a soup do you?"

Shark grinned and started to convince other animals.
"This human thinks he has the right to do anything he wants to do to you animals! He wants to lynch me because he wants shark fin soup. Next is going to be bear paw noodles and Tuna can. Kangaroo jerky and Crocodile skin bag. Turtle soup with Rat satay as side dish. Heck it might be you next Horned beetle. Fly far far away bat! While you can. Humans will find you. Eat you. Make a business out of you against your will. We are his slave!"

Human knew he had to be humble in these kind of situation. He had to be extra delicate and careful upon speaking with these animals.
But yet again it was the wise turtle who saved the day.

"I thought we agreed that this method is the best way to do this" he said. "We may all hate the human. But it was we who chose to let him in the council. And once we are in the council we all have equal right to speak up their thoughts. Yes the humans may be what you think he is. But that is not a effective reason to prevent you from getting lynched."

Once again all the animals went "oo" and now they were persuaded to help the human to complete what he decided. To lynch the shark.

Shark was invincible in his fish tank. He was given a fairly large fish tank so he can swim around without any stress. Making him a hard target to kill.
After a discussion they figured it was the best method to break the glass first and getting him out of the water. So the animals evacuated out of the room.

"You... You are going to take me on alone?"
Shark dirtied the water so he was harder to spot. And his fin out the surface.
"START THE MUSIC"



Facing this challenge, human sat there and thought the best method. He then came up with the best.
Against the massive fish tank, humans got in the room with massive tank.

"Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger! Attack 10, Defense 10, Agility 5! Upon engaging... RUN RUN RUN!"

"FIRE!"


Large explosion and Shark was thrown out of the water. Barely alive.
Human carefully adjusted the aim and fired the second barrage. This time it wasn't bullet but human shot a Tuna.

"Golden Tuna shot! Its super effective!" shouted the bat.

Indeed it was super effective. Human got over the debt of Jaws, and Tuna managed to pay back the long suffering of his ancestors. Bat managed to see the Tiger Tank and others... Well they got to lynch the guy they wanted to lynch.

They retired to their quarters. Hoping that this is all over.

I am sorry to say that I will not be able to continue playing this game. I arrived in Mexico yesterday as part of a hastily organized trip with a friend and it appears that the internet is very limited at the resort where I am staying. This means I will be inactive from the Org until friday, which mean missing most of the game. For the record, when I signed up I did not even know I would be travelling.

I hope you can find a substitute or a fix for this. Apologies again.

Night 2 Summery

Being one of the smallest around, he didn't expect to be targeted this early.
He flied as fastest as he could, trying to get away from the attacker. But he was locked in the room.
And slowly he was cornered.

"Think you can get away from me?" said the attacker.
He could. Easily in theory. Small and agile Horned Beetle should be able to get past him.
But he sensed a immense pressure. As if theres no escape route.

Brave Horned Beetle made the only choice available. Risk his life and charge to avoid certain death.
And he lost the gamble.

It wasn't until next day that others found the Horned Beetle dead.
They grieved at the loss of brave small warrior. And promised revenge on the killer.
They picked an name out of the box and decided the bear to be the leader of the day
