I think I will vote Ishmael because his hesitant play-it-safe attitude seems unfitting for a townie.

Populus Romanus: "Hey, look at me! I'm Warman!"
Warman: "Hey, no you're not!"
Several of the other men began to accuse Populus Romanus of being worthy of death, for impersonation of a soldier, or "warman" in layman terms.
Populus Romanus: "Oh come on, is this a tea party? Don't be so uptight, I was just having a little fun."
After these words, the other men relaxed their suspicions -- for the most part.
Montmorency: "How about we just stop killing people?"
Seamus: "Heresy! Burn the non-believer!"
Montmorency: "No, no, listen to me! We can find the killer -- or killers -- better this way! We won't be killing ourselves, just using the shirt to try and locate the mysterious killer(s)!!!"
Askthepizzaguy: "This is idiocy. We should take this man to the gallows."
Yaropolk: "What gallows?"
Askthepizzaguy: "You know what I mean, you slimeball!"
While no one could come to a conclusion on who to lynch, nearly everyone agreed that Johhog should get the shirt.
Johhog: "Gee, thanks everyone! You guys rock!"
Once bedtime had come, still no consensus had been reached on who should die. Therefore, no one did.
Well, today, that is.
It is now NIGHT TWO!

jht needs to be investigated eventually.
We have 1 investigation and 1 lynch each day. If we use them both, we get 14 or something according to your total. That means we get roughly the same number, but faster. This also eliminates the really freaking boring 48 hours of no discussion, because the mafia know they can just hide in the no lynch bandwagon.
Can't leta guy have a bit of fun, eh? I wasn't particularly serious about the No Lynch campaign, it came about by accident yesterday. I just noted that if patience and the Mafia schedule/calendar were not issues, we would be better off not lynching for a while.
But a veteran did say No Lynches were useful near the endgame, so we'll see when we get there.

Seon was sleeping restlessly. He tossed and turned in his bed to no end; coincidentally, he was also a very light sleeper. So, naturally, when the dark figure crept into his room, Seon shot up out of bed.
Seon: "Who's there??"
The figure didn't respond. He walked into the room, closing the door behind him.
Seon: "Who are you??"
Again, no response. The figure inched closer to Seon.
And closer.
And closer.
Next thing Seon knew, the figure was standing right next to him. Seon yelped, scrambling to get out of bed. He ended up falling off the bed, onto the floor, and hurting his arm.
Seon: "Ohhhhhh, my arm."
The figure suddenly smiled.
Dark figure: "Here, I can help take away the pain."
He then slit Seon's throat.
-----
That morning, everyone was gathered down in the main room. Apprehensive.
When Johhog came down the stairs, alive and healthy, it rendered the others speechless with shock.
Tratorix: "You're... alive?"
Johhog: "Obviously. Unfortunately, Seon wasn't quite as lucky as myself. He is dead. But, I also have news, on a better note. Populus Romanus is town!"
Populus Romanus grinned.
Populus Romanus: "See? Aren't you glad you didn't kill me yesterday? Heehee!!!"
His accusers the previous day just muttered under their breath.
It is now DAY THREE!

Vote: Populous Romanus I guess. Though I am a bit concerned that the mafia didn't kill Johhoq, since having verified townies running around seems like a bad idea.

This almost seems to simple. Where is the strategy if we can just vote the guy who was confirmed innocent last round?
Believer says (11:06):
Can I have the 3 last replies as a signature?
ATPG says (11:06):
No.
Believer says (11:06):
Why?
ATPG says (11:06):
not org-appropriate
Believer says (11:07):
Nothing we say is org-appropriate
Yes. So there are three options.
1. The mafioso are stupid.
2. It's an attempt to sow discord and try to get us doubting the validity of the investigation results.
3. There is something about the investigation mechanic we are not aware of.
I'm going to assume it's either 2 or 3 since 1 is completely unhelpful. It's a terrible strategy to leave cleared townies alive, since it further narrows our pool of suspects.
Believer, did you really think the shirt would abide a Mafia victory? This isn't some sort of unmanly test of wits

In this game, the iron fists of the town meet the hollow bones of the Mafia - and break them.
Well, Tratorix, you're saying that the Mafia knows something about scan mechanics that we don't.

It's quite possible. The mafia often knows things the town doesn't.Originally Posted by Montmorency
So then what, at least one of the first two scans is Mafia? That's the only way it would make sense. As in, a mafioso wearing the shirt gets opposite scan results?
I find it terribly difficult to believe that the first-timer (Memnon) is Mafia and that we happened to pick Mafia on the first day.
Ah, that changes matters. Very well. Mafia can definitely do somethingOriginally Posted by Zack

I don't think PR could be mafia though; doesn't make sense to draw attention to oneself with shenanigans.

It would be amusing (in a twisted sense of the word) if the shirt was completely useless and gave town results for everybody...but in the interim we should probably trust it. I maintain my suspicion of Seamus Fermanagh, however, for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I believe that Seon was killed to frame me (Egotistical? Moi?). He was the sole person to vote for me yesterday, and so it looks suspicious that he died. Seamus is fairly experienced, from what I gather, and so is probably the sort of person that could pull this off. Secondly, I voted for Seamus yesterday, and possibly he took offence at that. Maybe he thought I was a threat to him, and decided to kill two birds with one stone by murdering Seon and getting me lynched.
Yes, I realise none of the above is conclusive, or even overly indicative, but it's something to bear in mind. I won't vote for Seamus yet, in case somebody comes up with a decent case in the interim, but I'll vote for him later today if that doesn't occur. Also, I realise this post in worryingly similar to what got me killed as Bugsy in 'The Thing' mafia, but at least in this game I can keep talking after I'm dead. Anyway, that's just my two cents.
That could just as easily be used to argue that someone is framing Seamus.Seamus is fairly experienced, from what I gather, and so is probably the sort of person that could pull this off. Recall the Vespasian game? I kept saying, "Woah, look at these lynches and night kills! Someone's got to be framing Ishmael."
Yeah, that didn't bear out so well.
