Heh - indeed you didnt. All that's left now for you is to learn to respect them and you are ready to goOriginally posted by Centurio Nixalsverdrus
Well I never said I didn't like women, did I?
Well, i never said that women are smarter, i said that they are more mature and they have more life "wisdom" in their early lives than men.Just one question: when women are that smarter, wiser and over all better as you said - why have they been practically rightless in 6000 years of civilisation?
Other than the proven fact that, you seem to count success of human affairs in "achievements", forgeting all the while the people that worked hard in order to make households the places that children were provided with the needed food, security and love in order to grow into balanced, self confident people that can go out in the world and "achieve": the women.they got a beating everytime they tried to make the world a better place
In light of this i would say that they remained rightless due to the enormous ingratitude of men. It is a testimony to their spirit, skills and practicality that they claimed happiness in life (succesfuly many times!) even under these conditions.
Well no sane husband, ruler or not, thinks that women are in need of more rightsAlso what I don't get is, there must have been a lot of women who secretly told rulers what to do... But never did one say "...give women more rights..."
Joking aside, women are often the key figures in households - hence the "cherchez la famme" (look for the woman) in every situation. This is a testimony to their spirit and skills, and in no way does it mean that they are not worthy of civil rights - even if many of them in reality could do very well without them.
