Or you don't like the flavor of the alcohol itself. I don't, which is why I'm not a drinker. It's very hard to be one when all hard drinks have the distinct feature of tasting like someone mixed in nail polish remover. There are very few beers I can stand. I MUST shanty wine with either pop or fruit juice. And I'll only drink coolers.

I don't drink before midday very often, but I will do it before music festivals or if I am going out to watch a sporting event all day. Basically anything where being drunk can only enhance the experience.
