Description

Ulster is located on the north coast of Ireland. The farming is excellent and advanced, making this province a good income generator at the start. Ulster is one of the two provinces in the campaign with Gold, making it even more valuable. And on top of it all, it contains Iron, which makes it important militarily.

Owned by the Scots at the start, this province is isolated from the rest of their kingdom on the main island, making it difficult to supply and maintain. Due to it's economic and military importance, it is important for the Scots to hold this province, and the sooner the Scots can get ships into Muir Eriu and Muir Cendtire the better. For the Irish, kicking the Scots out of Ulster is an important step to consolidate Ireland.
