Description

Hordaland is located in modern day Norway, across the North Sea and inaccessible from the British Isles by the non-Viking factions. It is the Viking capitol, and thus is the most advanced province. The farming is good, and the presence of Iron means that the Viking raiders will be well-equipped in their excursions.

Since Hordaland is not accessible by troops of the other factions, it doesn't count towards the victory conditions of the game. It is possible to take this province (and Jutland), this requires the use of agents to either bribe Viking stacks, or causing rebellions through spies and religious unrest.
