Present but not even bothering to abstain: a completely inoffensive name, Nictel
Not present: Beefy187
Csargo is lynched.
On another note, participation needs to be higher. I am now removing the abstain option for the remainder of the game. There will be no more replacements and you will earn a WoG if you do not vote for 3 consecutive rounds. I'll make another check, but I think Beefy and ACIN may already be two rounds into not voting.
EDIT: Beefy and ACIN are fine, with 1 round missed each. Nictel has 2 rounds missed, but only 1 consecutive. 5 total will incur a WoG.
Send me night actions now; if I get them all I will end the night phase at 11:00 PM EST tomorrow. If not I may have to delay it.

Day 11
As the day passed, each of the ten survivors was wildly suspicious of the others. Accusations flew in all directions, but by the end of the day there was something of a consensus. There was another curious paradox: though all of them would swear there were only the ten of them left on board, there seemed to be eleven entities that were on their minds. Most shrugged this off as they frantically searched for the final killer.
When the crew members were done voting, Admiral Dane tallied the votes and read the conclusion.
The Sentinel spoke in his strange tongue, but using telepathy he managed to translate it to the crew members who did not understand.
“You are all terribly misguided, but I can tell that you mean well. Unfortunately for you, you have not caught the killer today.”
“That’s not going to fool us, U-Mos. If you think we will let you off just because you say you’re innocent-”
U-Mos, suddenly angry, cut him off.
“Let me off? Admiral Dane, you are already fooled!”
“Not this again… I have a feeling this one won’t go quietly!”
“Quietly? No. But I have no intention of resisting your judgment, fool. I am old, and have lived for far too long already. I do not fear death. But I do fear for the future of my people, and if you do not stop this creature, I see dark clouds on the horizon. Let me tell you who you have decided to put to death: I, U-Mos, am the guardian of my people, who live on the planet Aether. Aether was struck by a Phazon meteor many cycles ago, warped and twisted and nearly destroyed. I alone resisted the power of it, and safeguarded my people until Samus arrived. And you believe that I have fallen to the Corruption? LAUGHABLE. You will all reap what you have sown.”
“Are you done yet?”
“Yes. Bring me to the airlock. That is how I shall meet my fate.”
Admiral Dane led U-Mos to the airlock, and when he was ready, sealed off the chamber. Dane was careful for any tricks or traps he feared the alien might try to pull, but U-Mos did not resist in any way. U-Mos was blown out into space, where he died quickly in the vacuum. When his body was brought back inside, his face looked peaceful in death.
Poor Csargo. He was an Hero. I wuv you Csargo. ~:grouphug:

Screw that.
You weren't around for GF3, but Reenk and ATPG decided to give Beefy a break from being lynched all the time. In the game where he was the Godfather.
Last round, 4 people left, 3 townies, 1 GF. 2 townies knew Beefy was the GF, but they nearly gave him the game anyway. :laugh4: Crazy.

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
Well, that was disappointing
New list.
12 dead GF Survivalists +1 Deleter, +1 converted Hero
10 dead IDFH Survivalists
7 dead heroes, 4 from GF, 3 from IDFH
3 dead originial Bowser, 1 from IDFH, 2 from GF
1 Space Pirate (IDFH cover)
1 Neutral (IDFH cover)
2 dead original Phazon, 1 from IDFH, 1 from GF
1 Omega Weapon, GF Cover
9 remaining with universe listed beside them
Pikachu (Phazon)
Captain Falcon (IDFH)
Admiral Dane (GF)
Goombario (IDFH) Autolycus
Vivian (IDFH)
Madeline Bergman (GF) Skooma
Researcher (GF) Greyblades
Kanden (IDFH)
2 private role-claims of other IDFH roles
That's one too many.
Dead GFs/ GF Covers: 17, 4 covers (Deleter counted as Dead GF, not Dead GF cover because he was converted)
Dead IDFH/IDFH Covers: 13, 4 covers
So Pikachu could be a cover for either side and have as close to parity as possible, but if GF-IDFH origin parity is maintained, there need to be 2 real GF/GF Heroes and 6 real IDFH/IDFH Heroes remaining.
Even if Origin parity isn't, survivalist parity should be.
On that count, we have original 13, assuming U-Mos actually was converted to heroism and 10 original IDFH survivalists dead. Researcher has claimed survivalist, so unless Bergman is a hero, we have at least 15 original GF Survivalists, that means we have to have at least 5 GF survivalists, leaving 2 spots, one for a hero, and one for Pikachu. Captain Falcon I can't imagine not being a hero.
Researcher killed the same night as Pikachu and Madeline was attacked by Pikachu, so as crazy as it sounds.
I conclude that Admiral Dane, is, in fact, Pikachu.
If everyone role-claims, we win.

Why? It seems to me like we have to have the same number of survivalists on each side, or it's tough to have a balanced game. Bergman and Researcher put us at 15 GF Survivalists. That means we need 5 IDFH survivalists. That leaves two players left to be a hero and Pikachu. So either Dane is a hero and Captain Falcon is Survivalist, or Dane is Pikachu and Captain Falcon is Survivalist or Hero. Falcon can't be pikachu, because he protected Amaterasu against Pikachu. Bergman and Goombario were attacked by Pikachu, so they're not pikachu. Researcher and Vivian attacked the same night as Pikachu, so they're not Pikachu. That leaves four people: Kanden, Dane, and 2 others, one of whom may be Simon Belmont (acin), one of whom may be Siegfried(Beefy). I have one more private role-claim of an unseen role, so one of the three is lying. Doesn't mean they're scum, just means they're lying. If anyone has a role scan, even if it doesn't penetrate cover roles, I'd encourage you to use it on ACIN or Beefy. Tell me, skooma, or greyblades the truth, folks.

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
pevergreen's votes (also showing who was lynched, in parenthesis)
Day 1 : 2 votes (Warman & ACIN)
Day 2 : 7 votes (TinCow)
Day 3 : 5 votes (Renata)
Day 4 : 2 votes (ATPG)
Day 5 : 1 vote (Jarema)
Day 6 : 0 vote (Double A & Captain Blackadder)
Day 7 : 2 votes (Ironside)
Day 8 : 2 votes (Thefluffyone)
Day 9 : 2 votes (dcmort)
Day 10 : 1 vote (Diamondeye)
So it's 7 and 5 votes when Phazons are on the line, but never more than 2 when someone else is. Could very well be a sign that pever cared more about these lynches than any other.

Pushing more suspicions on Glenn, for being too Townie. I never liked this argument to lynch someone because chances are the guy looks too townie because he's in fact a Townie. The argument doesn't make pever suspicious but something else does: He pushing against someone else when there's a scum scan result on the table.

Corrupted Cloud Strife
My faction is Phazon. We are one of the two mafia families, my master is Dark Samus. I do not know the name of the other mafia family, but they are led by Samus. My family's goal is to eliminate Samus' family and the GF. Samus' goal is to eliminate my family and the IDFH. As such, my family is allied with the IDFH and Samus' family is allied with the GF.
As I remain alive for several more hours, I am capable of communicating with anyone in private. I urge all IDFH Survivalists to PM me and reveal themselves to me. The Phazon WILL NOT kill IDFH players and we will do our best to aid you and protect you. If you have any desire to win with us, you need to contact me now and ID yourself. You only have until the end of this round to do this privately. After I am dead, I cannot PM so you will no longer be able to communicate to me secretly. In addition, the Phazon may decide to recruit a few of you in the future, whether you like it or not. If you would like the honor of joining our glorious mafia family, PMing me is a very good start.
For all players, IDFH and GF alike, it is time to decide where your loyalties lie. Are you going to play this game like a straight (and boring) mafia game, or are you going to embrace the divided town concept for its full entertainment value, and go for a mafia alliance? I will be coordinating IDFH town activities from here on out. I am already working with two of you on a method to ensure that I can give instructions secretly even while posting publicly. Those players will be able to organize things secretly even in my absence. Any of you who successfully convince me that you are IDFH and want a mafia-aligned victory will also be given individual codes for private communication. All players I communicate with will have their own individual codes, so that no one will be able to understand anyone else's instructions. For security, of course. IDFH players with vigilante skills are highly desirable, and will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their loyalty immediately. The rewards will be great entertainment, and surely a significant advantage over our un-organized GF counterparts (no offense, guys).
Oh, one final thing... someone who votes for me will die when I am lynched. It's a nice special defensive ability I have. If you need to survive to win, you might want to bail off this wagon right now. Don't say I didn't warn you. Good luck trying to dodge my random kill, Samus!
Let the games begin!
ALL IDFH SURVIVALISTS SHOULD CONTACT ME PRIVATELY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THIS WILL GREATLY IMPROVE YOUR ODDS OF SURVIVAL AND FINAL VICTORY. PROOF OF LOYALTY WILL BE REQUIRED.
P.S. For those who think it's unfair that a player like me gets so much deference, consider the fairness in constantly being investigated on N1 in every game. :furious3:
Done 20 minutes after pever voted TC. Again, it makes sense for pever to vote TC if he knew about this, as there is no point in trying to save his partner anymore.

We don't know how the TinCow day kill worked. It was possibly a bomb, targeting a random voter.
(* if anyone also have a similiar power, e.g. kill a player when lynched, it would be nice to hear about it)
Anyway, bottom line is that unvoting TinCow here is suspicious. pever may be trying to save his life because he knew keeping his vote was dangerous (if it was a random bomb).
Noteworthy is that Renata isn't on the TinCow bandwagon. If it's a random bomb, you won't see any Phazon voting for TinCow. Make sense.

Overall,.pever tried to help TinCow, jumping on the two other leading candidate (Glenn & Nictel).
His two votes on TinCow are suspect: One last 17 minutes, the other was conveniently done minutes before TC confirmed he was mafia.
He also removed his vote from TC after hearing about the bomb killing one voter.
I'd say his actions on that day were pretty friendly with the Phazons.

Back to voting ATPG (but he forgot to unvote, oops!).
Things were going behind the scenes, with ATPG speaking to Renata.... and....
ATPG drops a bomb in the game thread, saying that Renata is possibly TinCow's partner. If pever is Pikachu, voting for Pizza now makes a lot of sense.

Right now, I'm sleeping.
Right right... Let's not talk about Renata :laugh4: At this point the tally was Seon 6, Glenn 5, Beefy 5, Renata 1 but it grew real quick after this.
As far as I can tell, we have just under 2 hours until this phase ends
pever is back, and making another tally. Does he look interested? I mean, how often do you see pever making tallies. Look at the Samurai game, he's the ultimate pro-town role. Do you see him tallying?

Tie! Tie! :grin2:
Also, as I said in my last post - working with serial killer = bad memories.
*cackle* Now he's obviously helping Renata.
Notice that he doesn't move his vote to ATPG until it's actually helping. In the previous tally, he didn't move his vote because 8-5 or 8-6 wasn't much of a difference. Why is it that he waits for ATPG to me one vote away from Renata before moving his vote? (I think that I know why...)

I managed to live for another day or two, pretending I would work with the town, but I was then killed at night. I did the same thing as ATPG, moved the lynch off me onto another person (though I knew the person I moved it onto was mafia, as I was told that when I attacked them) and played 'townie sk'. TinCow did the exact thing in Netherworld, formed his own mafia family and won.
Bottom line, pever voted twice against ATPG, who was trying to out a 2nd Phazon, and who also was the other lynch option. His last vote created a tie between Renata/ATPG, clearly helping the Phazons.
If you can't be bothered to read the whole post by post, know this: pever's actions on Days 2-3, when we lynched the Phazons (TC and Renata), were clearly helping the Phazons and there's not much, if anything, to prove otherwise.
What do we have pointing at pever being Town?
- He claimed helping Seon and Yaropolk behind the scenes, feeding them with scan results, but his ability was stolen since (:laugh4: how convenient).
- He claimed Hero privately to Yaropolk, we don't know which role.
What else? That's it!? Anything else behind the scenes?
Do we know which role he claimed?
I say, kill pever asap. He's Pikachu.

I think unvoting TinCow to avoid his claimed death-kill was fine. I wasn't the only one. Plus, I have Reenk to consider. Revenge has been taken, I presume, though I still don't know who killed him.
My dislike of serial killers is known. I have already pointed out multiple times in this game alone why I don't like working with them.
As for Glenn, lets have a look at the first post I see by Glenn in a long time:
If I ever get a role with a kill ability i can use, I would kill Glenn, straight away. I promise you that.
Stop calling my posts fluff.

If someone stole an ability from pever they should claim it. If no one claims that, he is mafia. EDIT: nevermind, they could be dead :( but there's still things to work with here, regarding when he claimed etc.
But I don't know (didn't read the post by post yet sorry romanic!). There was a lot of wagon switching day 2 and three which weakens that point at least.
I did suspect pever early for his comments during that wagon but haven't much since.
Pikachu's played a good game whoever he is.

I had two abilities stolen, on two nights.

Yes, but I think we really just need you active during a night where pikachu killed. Cause even scum get abilities stolen, that part is only telling if it turned out you had lied about it, which didn't seem likely to me.

I heard that you had a role block ability, however? What does that mean?
I never said that, not to you, not to anyone.
Are you certain?
Yes.
Yarapolk has been trying to get info out of me, then replying back to my PMs quoting me incorrectly, so if he said something, I wouldn't put any trust in it.
A certain person I know swares that he stole a certain ability the night in which you said that you finally had gotten an ability. Either you or he is lying, and I find the latter difficult to accept.
Did you forget to mention that to me?
The night i told you i finally got an ability, was the night i finally got an active ability i could use.
What does the guy say he stole? Because I had an ability i couldn't use...it was stolen, but with the floods and everything, plus i couldnt use it.
I know what he stole.
Tell me what he stole from you...
Ice Strike, a killing ability.
Apparently I couldn't use it.
...a killing ability?!
Apparently so.
We're talking about the first time I got an ability stolen, not this past night, yeah?
Can I trust yarapolk?
Yeah, yeah, I know. It's just that you should have told me this sooner. A LOT SOONER.
Yes, you can trust yaropolk.
Ok good about yarapolk.
sorry man. been pre-occupied. :shame:
Thats that complete conversation. I was asking about Yarapolk, because he had asked me to reveal a few days ago, and was asking more questions.

Offensive? None. As I said to autolycus, I'm a defensive tank.
Defensive:
Energy Tank: Can survive one night attack.
Heat Guard: Defend against fire-based attacks.
Hazard Shield: Defend against electricity-based attacks.
Ice Guard: Defend against ice-based attacks.
Neutron Shield: Defend against fire, lightning, and ice-based attacks.
Reflective Armor: Defend against light-based attacks.
Electromagnetic Barrier: Defend against investigations.
edit: Romanic:
I'm not now claiming to have it, those PMs are 9 days old. I couldn't use the attack.
edit2: Well I still have a role PM with scan visor on it, so heres the scan power i did have:
Scan Visor: Investigate a target’s identity and alignment at night.

Right.
If you are protected from investigations, you can say anything, such as having no offensive abilities. However it's strange that we heard about you having one, albeit stolen.
My guess is that we heard it because it's something that you cannot deny. You're likely loaded with more, sir Pikachu.

I'm hardly the first person to say I'm protected from investigations.
And you can only use one from that list per night. As you can see from the writeups, I've not been using it. I survived a hit from Doopliss. Lucky, thats all I was.

Good post, but your math is off. There are 18 and 14 (assuming Csargo counts as a GF), not 17 and 13 dead GF's/IDFH's.

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
Night 11
After the death and exoneration of U-Mos, whom the survivors thought sure to be guilty, the nine were thrust once again into trial and confusion. They all proceeded to their strongholds spread throughout the GFS Olympus.
Presently it was formatted so that it was a simple, wide-open space. That way Kanden would not be surprised by his enemy turning a corner behind him, and he would have a clear shot with no cover. Of course, that also meant there would be no cover for him.
But the visitor he received didn’t seem the type to use ranged weapons all that often. The sound of Admiral Dane’s heavy boots crashing on the floor ensured that Kanden knew full well what was coming long before the Admiral had arrived. He stood in the center of the training room with his arm cannon pointed at the doorway. Admiral Dane strode in majestically.
Kanden fired his arm cannon at the Admiral rapidly, but the shots just seemed to bounce off his armor, and he was completely unaffected. Dane continued to walk, slowly but determinedly, toward Kanden in the center. Kanden himself did not move.
When Dane stood directly before Kanden, the bounty hunter activated his defense- a glowing green multi-purpose barrier surrounded him. Admiral Dane swung back his right leg, preparing to attack.
Dane shot his booted foot forward in an incredibly forceful roundhouse kick. The blow continued straight through Kanden’s barrier unimpeded and struck him in the chest. Kanden flew backwards until he hit the wall behind him, and then crumpled to the ground.
Admiral Dane, with a half-satisfied look on his face, left the room.
But after Dane was gone, Kanden got up. The blow had completely drained his Energy Tank, but he was still alive and his armor was intact.
She was certain that she was being watched. She did not see anything, but she felt the presence of Phazon around her, and she sometimes heard the scratching and the chattering that sounded as if it came from inside the walls of the ship. She did not know how to escape an enemy she could not see, but she kept moving nonetheless.
Madeline continued to hurry, until she reached a dead end and nearly walked into the wall. She had wandered into the crew quarters, and had found the dead end at the extremity of the area. Panicking, she turned around quickly but was halted by a ceiling grate falling to the floor in front of her. A small creature followed the grate.
Madeline screamed. She had once again been cornered by Pikachu, and this time she had no energy tank to save her. The Pikachu’s blue eyes glowered at her maliciously. The mouse was not one to let its prey escape it. Pikachu began charging up electricity and Phazon energy, and a large vortex began forming around it again.
Madeline activated her last resort. A glowing energy film capable of deflecting electric bursts covered her body. She braced herself as the Pikachu charged…
This time it was not enough. Even the hazard shield covering Madeline shorted out due to the sheer volume of electricity that Pikachu had created. The Phazon energy included in the vortex had seeped through already and was burning like acid through Madeline’s skin. As the Phazon burned from the outside, so did the electricity from the inside. When Pikachu was done, the once-beautiful woman was now only a charred husk.
“Pika-chu~!”
The creature grinned gleefully and scampered off after leaping back into the ceiling vent.
