OKAY! According to my notes, everyone now has a character card.

Please, if you're still playing the game and did not get a character card, let me know, all right?

I will get to work on the Public Writeup for Phase Nine ASAP, but it is a doozy. Seriously... will probably make Phase Eight's writeup look almost boring.

I think you have the honor of the most spectacular death in the game, unless someone comes up with something seriously creative between now and the end of it.

If I had to guess, I'd say two turns from now, the offspring of the said monster will begin to be born and go out through the streets hunting for humans. This wouldn't be much of a problem, but I'd say that a new monster will be born every turn. (Or every 2 turns for balance's sake)

Town is not in a good position from what I can see.....any thoughts Pizzaguy?(Because everyone knows a super self breeding Omega monster, is just what is needed to spice things up)

Oh I have thoughts, for sure.

Remember that there's some 800 or less tiles of play space, and each player has only 1 tile that they are on and 8 more that they control. 9 tiles out of 800 or so isn't a lot, so it's really unluckiness which would cause your death no matter how formidable any one opponent might be.

The game is designed such that the town will get progressively more and more hostile to the living, innocent players, by death or by conversion to evil. You've got a certain reasonable amount of time, from the beginning of the game, to meet with other players, share information, and solve whatever local puzzle you can, while the innocent team is being slowly annihilated. You're working against the clock of course... the idea is to get out before it gets too late.

With each passing phase the zombie horde grows larger, and the evil characters kill more good characters, and even when the evil characters die they tend to become zombies too and share their information. Then you've got the Queen Plaga running around now, and I'll go on the record as saying that isn't a good thing.

It is possible to avoid the dangers, because you can move in 8 or 16 different directions, and most can move a decent enough distance. Since there are so many innocents and so few evil characters, it's simply a game of avoiding or killing off the evil characters, or sneaking past them or defending against them until you can run away, or finding the items which can protect you from them. But in any case, you still need to find viable routes out of town or solve the main puzzle of dark falls, in order to win an innocent victory, because although it is possible to destroy all the zombies and evil characters, you will all slowly transform into Omega creatures, and that is the ultimate time clock. You'll never survive in here, so it's best to find a way out and get out.

What strategy you use, what direction you move, and what you do when you get there... how you accomplish your goals... that much I am afraid is all up to you.

I take it that this queen monster is the incarnation of evil refered to in the prologue? Since you're using the same eye pictures ATPG.

I must say that if Alyssa have ever been human, she's the one with a fate worse than death, not Tyler (who had a very wierd and gruesome death, but well he died). Interesting roles there, Tyler joining a really strong group=3 dead plague demons+ possibly a dead Alyssa as well (I assume she was hard to spot before her transformation). I suspect being The Queen's Groom was the hardest starting role though.

Are the plague team and the zombie team alliied? Like the zombies and the Omega transformations?

1-2 more serial killers (Otto and possibly the sniper), 3 plague demons, 1 plague queen + omega transformations+ zombies. Not easy times for the town.
We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

I don't know if having those "Omegas" in "human form" is a good thing....(I know you gave us a good way to deal with that *hint* *hint* *Nudge* *Nudge* town)

They can give countless updates to the zombie hordes....not to mention whatever the that "Zombie Queen" and her "Progeny" is...

And shoot YLC on sight please....I have no idea if he is or isn't evil....but I would just do it to be sure he is not...let's not forget that the "townie hero" could be a "Wolf in sheep's clothing"
