East Germany invades Austria

In a shocking development, the Republic of East Germany marched their army into the sovereign Republic of Austria, taking most of the country in a short blitz campaign. This action has caused the government of Austria to go into exile. NATO has issued a stern warning that unless German forces leave Austrian territory immediately, there will be a declaration of war against East Germany. Many heads of state and ambassadors in Europe have issued strong condemnations of this action, showing support for Austria. More on this top story as it develops.

Suspected terrorists caught in Budapest

Two Caucasian suspects have been detained by Hungarian authorities after the attempted bombing of several shops in the Budapest commercial district. According to a Hungarian official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, these attempted killers had attempted to sabotage the marketplace and leave behind false identification for the purposes of framing the Czechoslovakian military. After being detained and interrogated, the two men confessed to being agents working on the Indian government's payroll. Hungarian authorities have yet to make a statement on the incident, however it is expected that the Hungarian Prime Minister will be holding a press conference at 5:00PM local time this evening to address the attempted bombing.

British invasion of South Africa continues

The BBC reports that British troops have been deployed to the Republic of South Africa to root out those responsible for the assault on Zimbabwe. Troops entered the country from Zimbabwe and the southern coastal region, and are marching towards the capital cities of Pretoria and Cape Town. Most of the nation has already been liberated, but British troops were halted by the presence of armed forces from Botswana and Mozambique.

Citizens outraged as Bhutanese Monarchy overthrown in military coup

Thimphu, Kingdom of Bhutan- The ancient kingdom of Bhutan, which has stood for over a thousand years, is still in shock from the sudden apparent military coup which overthrew the Dragon King, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck. The Bhutia people registered their outrage at the removal of the beloved monarch, as the Kingdom of Bhutan is widely recognized as being the happiest state in all of Asia, and is ranked the eighth happiest in the world. The removal of the Dragon King prompted street demonstrations and a general strike. Sources report that the coup was highly unexpected as the Bhutanese military is very loyal to the royal family. Chinese influence and funding of the coup is suspected, but there is no direct evidence. The small nation is bordered to the North by the People's Republic of China, and to the East, South, and West by the Republic of India. More on this story as it develops.

The Pakistani government wishes to announce that it has caught spies attempting to sabotage and steal vital information on the Pakistan's nuclear program. Unfortunately, these men died during the interrogation before a proper trial could be arranged and little information could be gained. Before dying, one the men revealed that he was working for the Czech government. As this is a matter of state security, the remains will not be returned.

Unless a nation claims these spies as its own, Pakistan will have to consider them on a mission by Czechoslovakia. The Pakistani government wishes to issue a stern warning to Czechoslovakia and its allies; we will not tolerate any foreign incursions on our soil. A repeated offense will result in severe consequences.

Czechoslovakia wishes to know why you found a Czechoslovakian agent in Pakistan, when Czechoslovakia did not deploy any man to Pakistan.

Czechoslovakia cannot comment exactly whom Czechoslovakia sent agents, but it was not Pakistan, and it only sent agents to the country that Czechoslovakia cannot name in an advisory capacity. Czechoslovakia is very angry to see possible misuse of resources allocated in good faith, and Czechoslovakia apologizes to Pakistan, and congratulates Pakistan on thwarting the attempt.

Czechoslovakia will also make it known that it is secretly withdrawing support from country that abused Czechoslovakian kindess.

China has nothing to do with the Coup on Bhutan. We are close allies with the dragon king and we will not stand for this outrage. The fact that the blame is being linked to China is too much too bare. We are going to INVADE and return the Dragon King to his rightful throne. We will remain for a short while to maintain that allegiance to the king is maintained. While china may not believe in monarchies we are willing to restore this one.

Is anyone going to argue with our decision.......................

Czech forces occupy Hungary

The failing Republic of Hungary has been in a state of turmoil for several months... today, the armed forces of nearby Czechoslovakia have moved in to secure the peace, occupying half of the total territory of Hungary. Czech authorities claim that Hungary was subverted by NATO, and their actions are will the full intention of establishing peace and security for the region and to prevent the spread of chaos. There were some minor protests over the Czech occupation, but the majority of the protests were directed towards the Hungarian government itself.

ahhhh, now I understand.

Now, returning in character,

Britain is glad that the liberation of the south African people has gone so well. We believe that with there fall it would be best for the 3 liberating nations to begin talks about our plans for the administration of its territory. Hopefully we can reach an agreement that we will all find suitable. as soon as this is done The British government will begin funding a massive reconstruction of the area's under our jurisdiction.

(how exactly shall we go about that? do I get to talk with the two NPC nations?)

Also, East Germany's invasion is quite troubling, and Britain Wishes for it to be made known that if they do not Withdraw, we will have to take action. However we do not think it will come to that, Britain believe Diplomacy will rule the day.

Britain finds it humorous that Even other Warsaw nations appear to be opposed to the Czechs actions in Hungary. Perhaps they should try being more of a like mind.

Also, Iran is not invading Iraq to annex it, they are overthrowing Saddam Hussein which I quote -
During the Iran–Iraq War Iraqi forces attacked Iranian soldiers and civilians with chemical weapons. Hussein's regime was notorious for its human rights abuses; a well-known example is the Al-Anfal campaign as well as attacks on Kurd civilians inside Iraq, such as the Halabja massacre, as punishment for elements of Kurdish support of Iran.

Since Iran also went to war, due to exposing the abuse of the Saddam on his own people, and Iran was going in to protect the Iraqi people. Iran cannot withdraw leaving iraqi civillians under the wrath of the oppressive Saddam Hussein. Iran's intentions are simply over-throwing the government and putting in place, a Islamic Republic based on it's very own system of government (which might obviously be very friendly to Iran, but otherwise, not actually part of Iran)

Pakistan has many statements to issues.

Firstly, Pakistan wishes to congratulate England in its struggle in South Africa. Pakistan is hopeful that once England is satisfied that South Africa poses no longer a threat, they will withdraw and not find an excuse for prolonged occupation.

Secondly, Pakistan wishes to condemn Czechoslovakia's annexation of Hungary, an ally of Czechoslovakia, and wonders why the Warsaw pact has given no reaction to this. Perhaps this defensive pact is just a sham, designed to lull the rest of the world into thinking the Eastern Bloc is a cohesive group, while in reality they are at each others throats?

Thirdly, Pakistan wishes to condemn the German Democratic Republic for its invasion of Austria. Not did the GDR stated retaliation as reason only after the invasion, but it never made stated its grievances in public and also never sought a diplomatic resolution. This is, all and all, an act of naked aggression with a flimsy Casus Belli.

Fourthly, Pakistan supports China's position on possible Russian aggression in Asia. If the USSR invades any country in Asia, Pakistan will join whatever coalition is organized to defend the freedom of that country.

Fifthly, Pakistan has sent a sizable force to support Iran, purely in a defensive manner, against the bellicose Arab countries wishing it harm.

Sixthly, Pakistan wishes to announce, in collaboration with India and China, the creation of an independent Kashmir nation. After lengthy negotiations all parties have reached a satisfactory position. The independence of this new country of Kashmir will be guaranteed by Pakistan, India and China. For three years, an international force, comprised of elements of each signatory party, will be stationed in Kashmir in order to stabilize the region and help the establishment of a new government. All three countries will withdraw half their forces after the second year and the rest after the third year. China will command this force during the first year, India will command it during the second year and Pakistan will be in charge of the withdrawals during the third year.

Pakistan sincerely hopes that this agreement between three nations that have been oft at odds, especially concerning the region of Kashmir, will be the herald of a lasting peace in southern Asia. Pakistan is hopeful that the rest of world will take note of this tremendous accomplishment by these three distinctly different countries and cultures; and will do their part to bring a new era of peace and prosperity.

England is glad to hear that the nations of that area have finally come to an agreement on Kashmir, it has been a thorn in diplomacy for a long time, and I hope that with this show of good will they can all have a new era of peace and prosperity. I wish them all good luck.

Britain is for now going to stay put in South africa, both to assure the creation of a new stable government and constitution, and to send money to help stabilize the South African and Rhodesian economy. When both of these objectives have been met we will think about a withdrawal. however it will only be if the South African people support such a withdrawal, it will be put to a vote, just like every other colony we have had. The apartheid came about due to one such withdrawal already, and although we doubt that such a thing will happen again we do not want South africa to fall under sinister influences.

China will be sending some of the peoples army to aid Iran in a defensive capacity. They will not cross the original Iranian border and are a last ditch force in cause of uncalled for Turkish, Egyptian, or Saudi Arabian Territory.

China will be conducting its invasion of Bhutan within the next turn, we will give the rightful throne back to the Monarchy and remain in a position to defend him against further illegal and violent acts.

Kashmir will indeed be returned to the Kashmiri (sp?). It will be a coalition of India, Pakistan, and China as these are the nations returning land for the new nation. They will be safeguarded from internal strife and from outside aggression and a Democracy will be put into place, with communists, socialists, and capitalists running for election. Have formerly signed a deal of neutrality in the war between NATO and the USSR/Warsaw Powers. Massive war in the Middle East as conflict escalates

The nation of Jordan officially declared war on Iran, and their forces joined Syrian, Saudi Arab, Egyptian, and Turkish forces on the battlefield in Iran, which were met by Iranian, Pakistani, Indian, and Chinese forces. The violence was catastrophic as nearly half of Asia was dragged into the conflict. The overall middle eastern coalition made advances into Iranian territory against the NAP armed forces, taking everyone by surprise. In a shockingly candid moment, the Pakistani leader was quoted as saying off-camera "There will be blood, mark my words... they are all a bunch of morons." ostensibly referring to the MEC member states.

Muslim Holy Site destroyed!

One of the holiest sites in all of Islam, the Dome of the Rock (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/14/Dome_of_the_Rock1.jpg) was utterly destroyed in a massive blast. The Israeli government immediately condemned the terrorist act, denying any involvement, and pointed the finger of suspicion directly at a Zionist radical extremist group bent on Israeli domination over all Arab Muslims. This Zionist terror group often receives funding from a Jewish charity based in the United States. The United States government, upon hearing which group was involved, not only condemned the actions but vowed a full investigation into the non-profit group and immediately froze all known assets of that group. Given the astounding level of violence already in the Middle East, the reaction from Muslim states is expected to be catastrophic.

Three bodies found off Irish coast

The BBC reports that some Irish fishermen made a big catch yesterday... three of them, to be exact. But these was no fish tale, for the catches in question were three men with an affinity for vodka. They were found riddled with holes, and not just from the fishing hooks either. They were apparently shot to death by Russian weapons. So what were they doing near Ireland? Sources inside the British government suggest that these men are suspected to have ties to Communist Russia, involved in the illegal arms trade with the IRA. A spokesperson for the Irish Republican Army could not be reached for comment.

Turkish-Syrian war ends in a cease-fire

Istanbul- Leaders from Turkey and Syria, as well as diplomats from several Arab nations met Wednesday to discuss an end to the fighting between Turks and Syrians. The talks were apparently successful, as the leaders of both nations signed the cease-fire agreement after calling a press conference. "It was all a big misunderstanding." Said the Turkish Prime Minister.

Kashmir region declares autonomy

The northern regions of India and Pakistan, known as Kashmir (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/8/8f/Kashmir_region-map_2004.jpg), declared full independence yesterday in the midst of severe conflicts across the continent. The new Kashmir government has yet to make formal ties with any nation, and is not yet included as a member of the United Nations. Editorial speculation: Given the immense military power of India, Pakistan, and China, the declaration of autonomy by Kashmir would most likely have had the approval of the governments of India and Pakistan. However, due to the conflict in Iran, no Indian or Pakistani official was available to comment on the developments in Kashmir.

Terrorist bombing in Pakistan

There were several massive detonations deep inside Pakistani territory, targeting both civilians and military alike. These bombs are suspected of being planted by Iranian agents, according to anonymous sources inside of Pakistan. The already hostile relations between Iran and Pakistan were made worse by the incident, causing widespread demonstrations in Pakistan against the Iranians.

Severed head left on Russian government doorstep

In a particularly bizarre turn of events, a Russian military official's remains were found today on the steps of an unnamed government agency building in Moscow. Specifically, the remains were the severed head of the individual. The remains appeared to have been brutalized, and a Czechoslovakian flag was protruding from the gaping eye socket, with a note pinned to the base. The note, written in psychotic handwriting, warned all Russians to be careful who they trust. The Kremlin could not be reached for comment, and the state-run media has refused to acknowledge the story.[/QUOTE]

Pirates raided...
A group of Pirate ships was captured earlier today by the heavy cruiser HMS Melbourn while they were making a break for the suez canal. Their cargo hold was crammed with explosives destined for turkish cities and their capture will undoubtably put more pressure on the pirate groups that raid the indian sea. But it is still unknown whether or not they were working autonimously or they were working on orders by the government.

...And Bhutan Invaded
In response to the dethorning of the bhutanise king the chinese liberation army earlier this week started the quickest invasion in history as chinese troops invaded and subdued bhutan's army in 3 hours. Due to the millitary coup the army of bhutan had been clustered around the capital there was only one battle before the millitary was completely crushed and the king put back in power.

The Middle-East situation is stupid. For one, Saudi Arabia, Eygpt, Syria and Turkey basically killed eachothers armies, they haven't got an army to fight with. Jordan has a puny army. Why would Jordan even join in the war anyway? Why would they attack Iran, when only Turkey attacked people without provocation?

Only a few of the NAP members joined in, because of Turkey turning around to attack Iran. Aka, a NATO member trying to invade.

Also, why are they attacking me when Israel just destroyed the Dome of the Rock, the holy of the holiest sites of the Muslim faith, but rather try to invade me, who was trying to overthrow Saddam Hussein who used chemical weapons and annexed the state of Kuwait.

1. You invade Syria without telling anyone, and if Beskar is telling the Truth then they even told you not to

3. They start owning you, you do not simply give up Syria and fall back to your borders, as would be prudent. (if you did so and they continued attacking we would have helped out)
4. You sign a deal with the devil that turns you on your former allies, WHO WARNED YOU NOT TO ATTACK SYRIA!

Dome of the Rock destoryed! Muslims in Uproar in Spirit of Jihad! NPC nations don't care and Turkey disappointed by size of blast!

After the bombing of the Dome of the Rock, the Iran, Pakistan, India and pretty much every player nation is in uproar about the incident. The Muslim world is foaming at the mouth with vast majorities calling for a jihad against Israel and any supporters, but many of the Middle Eastern nations and Turkey don't care. Aljazeera goes to see why.

Reporter: "Greetings President of Turkey, what do you think of this matter?"
the camera switches to the Turkish president with a dead child on a plate, using knife and fork to eat it.
Turkish President: "Rather disappointing, using dynamite. I mean, they could have done it better. Maybe some SCUD missiles, a nuke, make a big fireworks show, it is frankly an embarrassment to Israel that they can't even destroy the building with style."
As the president finishes the sentence, a woman with a screaming child enters the room.
"Sir, she won't stop crying"
"Agh, just throw her in the pot and stew her for tomorrow.... ok where was I..."
Reporter: "That is all we have time for."

The nations of Eygpt, Saudia Arabia, and Syria declined to comment other than random mumblings of "Brains....."

NATO-power Turkey declares war on Iran, member of the NAP!

In a startling turn of events, the NATO power Turkey declared war on Iran. The two were once powers seeking mutual friendly relations when Turkey unprovoked attacked Syria, receiving world wide condemnation, also souring relations with Iran.

After declaring war on the Middle East, Turkey was assualted by the zombie horde of various NPC nations, Turkey decided to play chicken and run back to it's borders and want peace. After various talks of Halaa Brainmeal, Turkey decided to declare war and attack the Islamic Republic of Iran for territorial expansion, which caused Iran to request assistance from the great nations of Pakistan, India and China to send battalions to support Iran.

Turkey bombs Pakistan, trying to pose as Iran. Locals comment "Do we look that stupid?"

Al Jazeera goes down to the site of the bombing in Pakistan where the bombing takes place. The reporter finds some locals.
Reporter: "Greetings, what are your opinions on this incident?"
Local: "I think they must think we are stupid. Iran has been a very loyal ally to Pakistan and recently called for help to us, when Turkey attacked and now they bomb us, attempting to say Iran did it? Do we think just because we aren't up to their ladedah Western ideals, that we bury our heads in the sand?"
Reporter: "How are you sure they were Turkish?"
Local: "Well, they kept flapping their wings going 'gobble gobble', running away from our halaa butchers then decided to put on some Iranian uniforms and blow themselves up. There are Turkey feathers everywhere. How isn't it obvious?"
Reporter: Thank you, that is all we have time for and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Reporter: Alright, you from Jordan, why did you decide to join in?
Jordan Soldier: "Well, Iran spoke to us about peace agreements and truces in the past. I know they are doing the good thing and doing the good fight in overthrowing Saddam for the Iraqi people, but the thing is, no one likes good guys and after all, the bad guys always get the chicks, if you know what I mean, so I will be returning home to my 70 virgins.
Reporter: So you think Iran is the goodytooshoes and you just want girls with a bad boy routine?"
Jordan Soldier: "Pretty much, there is no reason at all for us to be here otherwise, if anything, we would support Iran.
Reporter: Thank you for speaking to us, now I will have to run... ... ahhh!"

Yes, I told you to handle it diplomatically with you asking them to join the MEC, not to just unprovoke decide to attack them. It is all your fault, thus your responsibility. You are a dirty war monger and even decide to declare war on Iran, for no reason at all.

How does that work exactly? When you send troops in, you automatically become in a state of war, even if you don't declare it.

In effect, by shooting at Pakistani, Indian and Chinese troops, you are also at war with all these countries and so are Syria, Egypt, Saoudi Arabia and Jordan.

Now switching to announcements.

Pakistan wishes first and foremost to address the issues of bombings in our cities. Some have claimed it was Iran's doing, but our latest intelligence report indicates that they have been framed by Turkey's agents.

This, in conjunction with the attack of Turkish forces on Pakistani military units defending the sovereignty of Iran has placed Pakistan in a state of war with Turkey and its newfound Middle Eastern allies.

In the next few months, Turkey and its allies will come to regret this decision unless they state a formal apology and withdraw immediately. Pakistan also demands reparations from Turkey.

Finally, Pakistan is deeply outraged at the destruction of the Dome of the Rock and beckons the UN to appoint a team to investigate this horrible attack. If indeed Israel is responsible, then it is Pakistan's hope they will be severely punished. If no outside action is taken, then Israel will most likely find itself victim of other terrorist attacks.

Pakistan knows not what espionage capability Turkey has, but has it on good authority that they sponsored the whole thing.

Even if Turkey says it is not at war with Iran, it is at war with Pakistan, so we have declared.

So did I...so did I.. Why I had only one real choice...Paint Beskar as the villan to the Anti-MEC

You lied to the other nations, causing them to go to war with Iran.

Iran is calling economic sanctions from all nations on Turkey. Iran is ripping apart the trade deal it has with Turkey and calling all other nations to follow the same. The warmongering baby-eating president of Turkey cannot be allowed to get away with trying to cause a third world war in the Middle East. Invading nations unprovoked, attacking even those sympathetic to him, with terrorist bombings and causing other nations to invade them.

The Islamic Republic of Iran will not stand to allow the actions of Turkey to be unaccounted for, and seeks world wide condemnation against the nation of Turkey.

Due to the way current situations have played out The United Kingdoms is withdrawing from NATO to join the NAP. This is a necessary action we believe, and one that we hope does not cause any international incidents.

we are going to be brief in this, and ask that anyone who wishes to talk further on it contact us personally.

Fighting all of Asia when the sum total of your countries' populations struggle to add up to that of even Pakistan by itself...well, that's what I would call suicidal. Really only Turkey and Egypt should be able to field anything like a decent army and they've been killing eachother for the bulk of the game.

In defense of the NPC's I have to point out that if they started attacking Israel for a terrorist's actions then they would be attacking the USA's Poster boy in the middle east, with little provocation, while theyre allready fighting a war. Theyre NPC's but they arent suicidal.

Indeed, that is correct. Since, China/India/Pakistan/Iran had tech 10 troops....

Being perfectly honest, I don't even understand why Turkey was beaten so badly, it makes no sense. You got nations with tanks from the first world war being fielded against NATO's latest, and winning?!?

At least Iran versus Iraq war was actually making sense. With me winning because Iraq wasn't receiving any Western Support this time around, if anything should have been over by now with me winning it. The whole everyone attacking me, China, India, Pakistan, etc, makes no sense whatever, openly declaring war on a superpower (China) while right next door to them, the biggest enemy in the middle east, aka Israel, destroyed the Dome of the Rock, and they don't even batter an eyelid

On a more IC note India would like to denounce the Turk's obvious deception in bombing Pakistan. They also find it curious that news outlets did not record Pakistan's declaration on Kashmir instead characterizing it as their unilaterally declaring independence. Obviously western countries and their media do not care what happens in Asia...
