OK, in my great desire to see Csargo live even another second, I have even appealed to what I deem to be low and vile, merely in order to appeal to the target audience. I have made an analytical case based on commonly held methodological presuppositions that a majority of players hold. :sick: Obviously, doing this for too long will corrupt my mind, so it is quite brief, you can go back to where I refer to check my interpretation of events and not only will they be vindicated, but more evidence will come to the front which I have omitted.

The thesis: There is quite a lot of good evidence that Csargo is not Pikachu.

Exhibit A: The TinCow lynch is probably the best place to look for other members of Phazon. As TinCow was the first Phazon member to be flagged and in threat of dying, it would make sense that the Phazon try either:

1) Save him, as it was so early in the game and delaying his lynch as long as possible would be preferable to having him die so early, even at the expense of the partial credibility gained by being on the lynch of him, and there was a feasible counterwagon going that allowed just this.

1) Lynch him to gain a degree of credibilty as roles are revealed at death.

Both of these approaches seem a lot more likely as a Phazon course of action than say, showing aloofness to the matter. Csargo, on the other hand, did just that. Not only did he abstain from voting that whole round, but this was his only post (without even an explicit abstain vote):

This indifference seems unlikely for a Phazon to show.

Exhibit B: Examine very carefully what Diamondeye said about Csargo before and as he revealed as Dooplis, especially his statements on or after the round round of his lynch. There seems to be a very strong intimation that Csargo is not Phazon at all. In fact, one reading of it has Csargo as a potential Bowser team member in some sense.

The purported case on Csargo seems to be the fact that Skooma Addict's night action ON Csargo was blocked because he was attacked. However, an invisible inference is being casually made (perhaps in some cases with complete ignorance to the fact it is being made at all) that Csargo was the one who attacked him. This inference is unjustifiable, as any attack from any person should block the night action.

Another reason (in fact the only other major reason I can think of) that may be brought up is that during the Renata vote, Csargo voted Atpg in lieu of Renata. His action may perhaps be seen as an attempt to save Renata. While this is a somewhat plausible reading of this action, given the broader context, it seems an anomaly. Also one can point out that Csargo voted Atpg early on, when the vote between Atpg and Renata was not close, and it seemed that Renata would almost certainly be killed. Indeed, one could make the case that a plausible act for the last remaining Phazon would be to put his/her vote on Renata for credibility. Especially if that wasn't done for TinCow (which in Csargo's case, it wasn't).

One final point of consideration is inactivity. Pikachu did not make an appearance in the night writeup for one night 5. One may be tempted to argue that this implies inactivity, which it most certainly does not, at least not solely, and attempt to make a case that Csargo is known for periods of inactivity and not sending orders in. However, the case can be turned around on this premise. One could argue that Csargo would be expected to be much more inactive than missing just one kill round (and that one missed kill does not necessarily imply inactivity in the first place).

I really hope you consider my words carefully, and realize the manifest error you are in. Unvote Csargo, and please lynch someone else. Skooma Addict seems like the best bet so far. We are not 100% sure that the Hero faction can be trusted. Perhaps they have goals of their own. And Skooma Addict is Hero with much more certainty at this point than anyone else is anything else. I suggest he die to cover the town's bases. After all, the town can afford to win by attrition.

The last thing I will try is something I haven't done in a very long time, because the audience has changed, and it likely will not work (the previous audiences were so much cooler in many ways than the current audience, and I really long for them back :sad:). However, given the graveness of the situtation, it is worth a shot:

Please, please, please, PLEASE, for my sake do not lynch Csargo. For my sake. Please.

I think to really get there, you'd need something like the following: Heroes (Town Power Roles that win with Town only), Townies (win with one brand of scum if they survive, win with town regardless of survival), Scum Sympathizers (Win with town if survive, win with one brand of scum regardless of survival) and Scum. Considering what Reenk said, and looking back at the early Phazon lynches, I would say that the player who's most likely Pikachu, is pevergreen.

This is strictly based on the D2/D3 voting, and sadly I don't have time to make a big post about this (maybe I will later). On these two days pever made a lot of vote shuffling, considerably more than the others days (it shows that he was more interested in these lynches than when other factions were targeted) and some of his votes were definitely helping the Phazons.

I know that pever claimed Hero, but I don't know which role. If he isn't Captain Falcon or Admiral Dane, I'd say he's a good pick to be Pikachu.

I don't know what cover role Pikachu will have, the analysis made is not conclusive enough to say that he would have a specific cover role. In my eyes it could be anything (IDFH, GF, Hero) but I thought GF was the most likely.

As the day passed, each of the ten survivors was wildly suspicious of the others. Accusations flew in all directions, but by the end of the day there was something of a consensus. There was another curious paradox: though all of them would swear there were only the ten of them left on board, there seemed to be eleven entities that were on their minds. When the crew members were done voting, Admiral Dane tallied the votes and read the conclusion.

U-Mos did not exactly step forward, but he hovered to the center of the room quite peacefully. There was no confusion or fear visible on his face.

But I do fear for the future of my people, and if you do not stop this creature, I see dark clouds on the horizon. Aether was struck by a Phazon meteor many cycles ago, warped and twisted and nearly destroyed. I alone resisted the power of it, and safeguarded my people until Samus arrived. Admiral Dane led U-Mos to the airlock, and when he was ready, sealed off the chamber. Dane was careful for any tricks or traps he feared the alien might try to pull, but U-Mos did not resist in any way. U-Mos was blown out into space, where he died quickly in the vacuum. When his body was brought back inside, his face looked peaceful in death.

On that count, we have original 13, assuming U-Mos actually was converted to heroism and 10 original IDFH survivalists dead. Researcher has claimed survivalist, so unless Bergman is a hero, we have at least 15 original GF Survivalists, that means we have to have at least 5 GF survivalists, leaving 2 spots, one for a hero, and one for Pikachu. Captain Falcon I can't imagine not being a hero.

Why? It seems to me like we have to have the same number of survivalists on each side, or it's tough to have a balanced game. Bergman and Researcher put us at 15 GF Survivalists. That means we need 5 IDFH survivalists. That leaves two players left to be a hero and Pikachu. So either Dane is a hero and Captain Falcon is Survivalist, or Dane is Pikachu and Captain Falcon is Survivalist or Hero. Falcon can't be pikachu, because he protected Amaterasu against Pikachu. Bergman and Goombario were attacked by Pikachu, so they're not pikachu. Researcher and Vivian attacked the same night as Pikachu, so they're not Pikachu. Beskar claims an unknown investigator got a result on TinCow that we should lynch him for. Beskar then got a second note from the investigator with more info, saying TC was definately mafia. Beskar did wiki research. TC is on his phone, not at home (New years, who isnt) but says he is an investigator, gave the name of Sasaki, Sasaki confirmed that he is correct.

I agree, Glenn is trying too hard to appear as a townie. Classic stuff that hasn't really been used for a while, since current players have managed to go past it...but Glenn is back from a decently long break, perhaps the behaviour is still there?
Pushing more suspicions on Glenn, for being too Townie. I never liked this argument to lynch someone because chances are the guy looks too townie because he's in fact a Townie. The argument doesn't make pever suspicious but something else does: He pushing against someone else when there's a scum scan result on the table.

As for this game, we've not seen anyone with a cover role show up, because no one thats died at night has had one.

I think I have the weight of numbers on my side. In chaotix's last game, I was a serial killer, and a dead person outed me to the town, breaking the rules by doing so. I managed to live for another day or two, pretending I would work with the town, but I was then killed at night. I did the same thing as ATPG, moved the lynch off me onto another person (though I knew the person I moved it onto was mafia, as I was told that when I attacked them) and played 'townie sk'. TinCow did the exact thing in Netherworld, formed his own mafia family and won.

After the death and exoneration of U-Mos, whom the survivors thought sure to be guilty, the nine were thrust once again into trial and confusion. They all proceeded to their strongholds spread throughout the GFS Olympus.

Presently it was formatted so that it was a simple, wide-open space. That way Kanden would not be surprised by his enemy turning a corner behind him, and he would have a clear shot with no cover. Of course, that also meant there would be no cover for him.

But the visitor he received didn’t seem the type to use ranged weapons all that often. The sound of Admiral Dane’s heavy boots crashing on the floor ensured that Kanden knew full well what was coming long before the Admiral had arrived. He stood in the center of the training room with his arm cannon pointed at the doorway. Admiral Dane strode in majestically.

“It’s time for you to die, bounty hunter scum!”

Kanden fired his arm cannon at the Admiral rapidly, but the shots just seemed to bounce off his armor, and he was completely unaffected. Dane continued to walk, slowly but determinedly, toward Kanden in the center. Kanden himself did not move.

When Dane stood directly before Kanden, the bounty hunter activated his defense- a glowing green multi-purpose barrier surrounded him. Admiral Dane swung back his right leg, preparing to attack.

Dane shot his booted foot forward in an incredibly forceful roundhouse kick. The blow continued straight through Kanden’s barrier unimpeded and struck him in the chest. Kanden flew backwards until he hit the wall behind him, and then crumpled to the ground.

Admiral Dane, with a half-satisfied look on his face, left the room.

But after Dane was gone, Kanden got up. The blow had completely drained his Energy Tank, but he was still alive and his armor was intact.

She was certain that she was being watched. She did not see anything, but she felt the presence of Phazon around her, and she sometimes heard the scratching and the chattering that sounded as if it came from inside the walls of the ship. She did not know how to escape an enemy she could not see, but she kept moving nonetheless.

Madeline continued to hurry, until she reached a dead end and nearly walked into the wall. She had wandered into the crew quarters, and had found the dead end at the extremity of the area. Panicking, she turned around quickly but was halted by a ceiling grate falling to the floor in front of her. A small creature followed the grate.

Madeline screamed. She had once again been cornered by Pikachu, and this time she had no energy tank to save her. The Pikachu’s blue eyes glowered at her maliciously. The mouse was not one to let its prey escape it. Pikachu began charging up electricity and Phazon energy, and a large vortex began forming around it again.

Madeline activated her last resort. A glowing energy film capable of deflecting electric bursts covered her body. She braced herself as the Pikachu charged…

This time it was not enough. Even the hazard shield covering Madeline shorted out due to the sheer volume of electricity that Pikachu had created. The Phazon energy included in the vortex had seeped through already and was burning like acid through Madeline’s skin. As the Phazon burned from the outside, so did the electricity from the inside. When Pikachu was done, the once-beautiful woman was now only a charred husk.

“Pika-chu~!”

The creature grinned gleefully and scampered off after leaping back into the ceiling vent.

The eight remaining crew members of the GFS Olympus had started to become a little frantic in their search for the killer. Today, they voted unanimously, though with the exception of the unlucky suspect. Captain Falcon was called in to read the results, though at this point it was but a formality. There would be no surprises or last-minute changes today.

Captain Falcon tallied the votes and read the results with a solemnity usually unseen by him.

“Today, you have found to be guilty: the bounty hunter Kanden. Please step forward and present your defense, Kanden.”

The bounty hunter (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAVubNJI38c) stepped into the center of the room. At once the rest of the survivor noticed how he towered over everyone else, being nearly eight feet tall.

There was a hint in his demeanor that suggested he was not entirely sane. But he had always been this way; he was, after all, essentially a lab experiment gone wrong. Kanden had been hired because of his insatiable desire to kill and his lack of concern for his own personal safety. In that way, as long as Kanden followed orders it had the same effect as hiring a life-risking hero.

Kanden was silent for a moment or two as he sized up the other survivors in the room. Captain Falcon was about to prompt him, when suddenly he started firing his arm cannon wildly at the crew surrounding him, screaming as he did so.

“You want me to present my defense? THIS IS MY DEFENSE! GAHAHAHAHA! I’ll teach you all to betray me! This is what you get for crossing the mighty Kanden!”

The survivors started taking cover and Falcon sprang into action. Before Kanden could do much damage, the Captain engaged him in personal combat. Kanden blasted his at close range with electrified bullets from his arm cannon, but Falcon managed to shrug off the attacks. He grabbed the abomination by the waist and lifted him over his head, proceeding to throw him with great force against the wall.

There was a crash as Kanden hit the steel wall, but the bounty hunter got right back to his feet. He charged at Captain Falcon, but was struck with a fiery roundhouse kick and hit the wall again. Dazed as he got to his feet, Kanden was unable to react as swiftly this time. Captain Falcon pulled back his fist.

“FALCON…… PAAAAAAAUUNNNCHHH!”

The force of the blow took Kanden’s head clean off. His body sunk to the ground, unmoving. All of the seven remaining survivors stared cautiously at the body for a few moments, but it did not move again. Realizing the night had arrived and the killer was still at large, they all quickly headed out for their strongholds.
