Unit Description
Aztec Archers are equipped with a bow and padded armor and can be drawn from any part of Aztec society. Most however, come from the peasant class. They are good at molesting enemy formations with arrow fire, at a quick rate and can fight in melee if called upon to do so, with the macana, a stone axe. Aztec Archers, much like all Aztec units, won't stand up well to cavalry or cavalry charges. Also, being a peasant skimisher unit, they won't fare well in melee except against European peasant archers or the like.
