Unit Description
Byzantine cavalry are a versitile and competent light cavalry force. Good with thier bows and equally capable of fighting with thier swords in melee combat. Wearing a decent upgradeable armor, they are well suited to the Byzantine army. Good at hitting heavy infantry, chasing down archers and equal or lighter cavaly units. Able to hold melee with heavy for a time, they will eventually rout unless supported. Not good to charge into a spear wall though. Keep them held back and pepper the enemy with arrows if you like, that is what they are best suited for.
