They are able to fire in a cicle formaiton, making them even more formidable. While useful for attacking the flanks and molesting enemy archers, if put into melee, Akinjis will quickly dissolve as a useful fighting force. | ||

Unit Description
Akinjis, meaning 'raiders' are light calvary serving in Muslim forces. Fighting unarmored, Akinjis are quick and agile cavalry force. They fight with bows that they will pepper the enemy with. Their speed and rate of fire, coupled with the ability to fire on the move make them an excellent to with which to attack enemy formations. They are able to fire in a cicle formaiton, making them even more formidable. While useful for attacking the flanks and molesting enemy archers, if put into melee, Akinjis will quickly dissolve as a useful fighting force.
