Unit Description
After the Turks invaded Armenia, many Christians fled south where they formed the Christian kingdom of Cilicia. Armenian Archers are primarialy a mercenary force that would be used to fire upon the enemy, with flaming or regular shot, inflicting casualties upon an approaching army or from the safety of castle walls. They are lightly armored, therefore, suseptable to enemy archer fire whether it be from javelinmen, missle cavalry or other archers. They can hold thier own in melee against other lightly armored archers, but not so well against more heavily armored and professional soldiers.
