Combine this with the quickness of their camel mount, and you have a very effective and versitile unit to use in desert climates. Not so much in colder climates though. Horses not enjoying the company of camels, will give the Camel Gunner an advantage over traditional cavalry units, Light and medium. Heavy cavalry will withstand the ugliness and pungent aroma of their camel foes and usually win the melee. They can also be used in flanking maneuvers when the ammo is expended or to chase down routers and archers. | ||

Unit Description
Camel Gunners are mounted troops that ride camels, duh! They use a type of heavy matchlock musket that fires a powerful shot. Combine this with the quickness of their camel mount, and you have a very effective and versitile unit to use in desert climates. Not so much in colder climates though. Excellent to molest infantry, even heavy infantry, due to the armor piercing abilities of the rifle.
