Unit Description
Berber Spearmen occupy the territory mainly in Northern Africa. The lands predominately held by the Moors. Berber Spearmen carry spears and shields, but wear little armor. They can function well in both cold and warm climates. Defensive circles can be formed giving them more of a chance during melee, to buy time or perhaps turn the tide of battle. However, Berber Spearmen can't hold out in melee forever, prolonged attack will eventually cause a rout. With spears, they are a good anti-cavalry option when playing as the Moors.
