Unit Description
Aztec spear throwers are an evolution of the hunting men of Aztec society. Armed with a short throwing spear and armed with a stone club as a secondary weapon, they are a decent unit to add to your army. Aztec Spear Throwers wear light cloth armor and carry a small shield. They perform well behind the lines hurling their spears into enemy units while engaged in melee against the European infantry units. They can hold thier own against enemy archers, the more lightly armored variety, but will fall quickly to more professional archers and infantry. They cannot stand up to cavalry or a cavalry charge.
