− | + | Boyar Sons, the sons of Russia's aristocracy, often the second sons of poorer Boyars, are eagre to prove themselves in battle. They wear good armor, from mail to brigandine armor. Ride a mouunt, and hurl javelins at the enemy. They also carry an axe for melee combat. An excellent choice of cavalry when playing as the Russians for both melee and skimishing purposes. The javelins are armor piercing which makes them useful for a anti heavy infantry uses. Good to attack archers and flanking uses. Can hold thier own against like cavalries and lighter cavalries. Not good to charge into a spear wall with them though. | |
