Unit Description
Irish Dartmen are the longest ranged missile troop the Irish get, which is not saying much. They are fast though, and have a shield which gives them some protection as they close in on the enemy lines. Intelligent use in forest terrain can make them more effective, but they will require lots of micro-management.
Once out of darts, they can be used as flankers or to chase routing units, but their low defense means they will die quickly if caught in a prolonged fight.

Irish Dartmen throw darts, which means they will be severely outranged by the other factions' missile units, and they are less accurate to boot. The darts are not armour piercing, and are best used against lightly armoured infantry.
