Unit Description

Archers are the standard missile unit for the majority of factions in Viking Invasion. They are nothing special, having identical stats to the regular MTW archers, but in the low tech era of VI they can serve well if properly managed.

Archers are equipped with the standard short bow, so they are best used on unarmoured targets. They outrange the Irish missile units, and can be used to weaken the more elite melee troops like Berserkers and Gallowglasses.
