Unit Description

Celtic Warriors are the basic infantry of the Picts and Welsh. Their large unit size (100 by default) and high attack values make them a very fierce type of infantry, but their low armour and defence means that although they will get mowed down by ranged units, while the more "elite" kinds of infantry and cavalry will cut through them like butter. Armour and morale upgrades are important to improve their durability, because later in the game they aren't much good against the richer nations who can afford better troops. They work well against spear formations, where their size, the sword bonus, and the usual low attack value of the spears work in their favour.
