Unit Description
Urban Militia are one of several bonuses the Mercians get in the Viking campaign. Although they are not too special, they do have an armour piercing melee attack, which makes them effective against the heavy Viking troops. This gives the Mercians an early counter when other factions are struggling to find a solution to this problem. They are best used in this regard as flankers, attacking a pinned unit from the side or back.
