Dude, you never say "Dude" or "OMFG!!!" :inquisitive:
Has your account been hacked?
YESSSS! I WON!!!
You see Meth, I had an argument with a certain member regarding my formal grammar, and a s a result made a wage with a certain member that someone will notice my unusual choice of words and mention it in the post. That member insisted that even if someone did notice it, then they would nevertheless not say anything.
However, I knew you Meth, and the fact that you never pass a chance to increase your post count with more semi-masked spam, so I held to my argument and thus agreed to the wager. And I was right. I won.
EDIT: Even miotas noticed: Are you being serious? Usually you are a grammar nazi and you seem to shy away from anything "cool".
Gents, no more spam, please. Post about personal pics or comment on them, but if you need to go on and on about your posting habits, take it elsewhere.

:jawdrop: Oh well, my second best RL friend had significant facial hair since 6th grade. Scary stuff. He always shaved it though, but sometimes kept a moustache. He was of Indian descent too, as this bloke seems to be (if not Indian then Middle Eastern), although you could barely see it in him. His eyes and hair were Indian alright, as raven-black hair is unusual in pure-blooded people of European ethnicity (meaning their ethnic group originated in Europe).
Is this a serious question? :dizzy2:

Why, is that an outdated term? Forgive me, but since most of my extended vocabulary is taken from books, I may use terms and slang as well when it is no longer employed commonly. But what is wrong with saying discotheque?? They still have them around and they did not just get another name AFAIK. Unless there is a new slang term..
A Very Super Market

I don't even think people in the '70s used the word "discotheque". "Disco" is the most common usage. Hell, it's the only one that most people know.

Thanks. Indeed, the current political and economic atmosphere has created a bit of a perfect storm on all ARs. Even worse, most AR-10s being manufactured now are going straight to the military to replace M4s in Afghanistan, so they're especially difficult to get. Luckily, I know a guy so I didn't get a jacked up price, although I did have to wait quite a bit longer than I would have 2 or 3 years ago.

Oh well, as the catastrophic rush outbursted with the arrival of Ankabarbarians, people running over anything in front to save themselves from the free fire of anything that Ankaragucu fans could grab, keeping cool about what's coming for a couple of seconds first was not the best idea. I decided that my physical integrity was on threshold and rocketted off towards the bar trampling and jumping over flowerbeds and tables. Noticing that the bar was full, I zigzagged towards the entrance of a block next to it. That's when my glasses flew off, I picked'em back, felt something huge bumping on right part of my back and got myself to safety in the end.
When I checked myself up, the shirt was penetrated with whatever flown onto it causing a wound underneath as well. Scratches here and there and Beşiktaş were champions.

Looks more like a defensive stance to me; it's obviously trying to appear bigger than it is, by stretching it's forelegs like that. I don't think you can consider it to be in attack mode unless it actually attacks. Little fella was probably scared by you getting so close with a camera.

Nice pic SC,
seems you had very shallow DOF, what kind of lens did you use?
The lens was a 150mm F2.8 Macro (http://www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/lenses_all_details.asp?id=3283&navigator=5) - so given the focal length DOF is indeed a bit of an issue for real close ups. As I did not use a tripod in this case keeping a focus at all was a bit of a challenge (most of the shots were completely useless).
I am still exploring macro-photography a bit - still not sure if my interest would justify the investment for a proper tripod, a macro flash and perhaps another lens (the 70mm of Sigma looks very tempting).
The 150mm actually became a favourite of mine over the last 2 years as I use it not only for macros but as a nice tele with a reasonable maximum aperture that can produce stunning results in trems of technical quality.

I finally got to upload some of the pics we got from our latest trip to Mycene (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mycenae) and Nemea (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nemea)
This was our Valentine's day trip and had was a combination of archaelogical sightseeing and winetasting because we are wine-loving nerds.
Sorry about the frames being crooked and all that but I cannot take really good pictures.

I tried to capture the detail of the cyclopean walls on this one. I think the effect of the carefully carved lions next to the fortification is quite dramatic.

Go to a stylist instead of the barber on the corner, that sounds pretty gay and it is, but I have my metro-moments. Now I excuse myself with my stylist being a former kickbox-champion who looks incredibly badass, sure he had a good time in barber-school.

In my town, all the "stylists" suck at regular hairdos, and the best barber by far is just that -- a barber on the corner. Not saying anything about either in general; it just goes to show you should shop around.
Somehow I find the idea of you sitting on a stylist's chair wildly entertaining. It's like this here, dead/dying-> barber

Naturally gifted athelete but doesnt even like sports that much - team captain or very smart as well
The blonde girl next to him:
has a funny little laugh
shy girl - does ok at school and pretends to have ambitions but will probably be content getting married and popping out some kids - anything not to be lonely
far right seated
shes not got looks so she goes for the 'rebel' out there look
shes into vampires, metal, etc etc
probably end up working the checkout in coles or hairdressing
into the arts or drawing
Dude at the right back next to Bill Gates:
older guy
doesnt have to try very hard at anything
yes he likes his football and any other blokey activities
all rounder
two dudes middle back:
probably gay - maybe with each other - maybe they are not aware of this yet
the one in the centre is a football fanatic, and could like the Nazi a little bit more than he should
Girl on the left next to Hax
hangs around with the Gay dude cause he knows about hair and shopping
shes sally play it safe
probably very talented but doesnt shine by choice

The guy sitting in the middle front row:
Naturally gifted athelete but doesnt even like sports that much - team captain or very smart as well
The blonde girl next to him:
has a funny little laugh
shy girl - does ok at school and pretends to have ambitions but will probably be content getting married and popping out some kids - anything not to be lonely
Don't let the glasses fool ya; note the leg-warmers, dance-studio-type footwear, and above-the-knee skirt. This girlie has both ambition and dedication (check the leg muscles); she's just waiting for full-blown womanhood to occur. Then she'll get Lasik for the eyes and a tryout on a Broadway chorus line. And the boy-o's will be drooling.

How old young are the Lemurs?.
I'm 41 and she's 39, so we're well-ensconced in middle age. So not "old" in absolute terms, but decrepit on a board where the average age is something like 20.

Some pictures from the trip to France.
First part: Alsace
We mainly stayed in Strasbourg and Colmar and visited some villages in the area (Obernai, Riquewihr, Kaysersberg, Eguisheim). On the way south through the Vosges we passed Murbach, Haut-Koenigsburg and the Grand Ballon.

I'm not even allowed to post pictures of my daughters on any public forums or blogs. Thats my wife's rule, I choose to follow it, since I'm terrible at winning any arguments against her. When you tell a guy his kid is cute, and then add in the little disclaimer, it actually makes him more suspect.
Just food for thought.
Mrs. Lemur and I had a similar argument, but I stuck to my guns. I refuse to hide my kids on account of a tiny population of perverts. Besides which, the majority of molestation cases (~90%) originate with family or close friends. The Random Stranger makes for a great paranoid fantasy, but bears little resemblance to reality.
That said, here's the boy:
