Hello there! Just a new guy here and was interested about the modding for RTW. I am playing the Darth Mod for MTW2 and its amazing. Ever since the Kingdoms expansion with the Americas, I was sadly dissapointed that they did not include the Incas, which I am in direct lineage with them since I am about have Spanish and half Incan. I can actually even trace my family back to the Incan times lol. Anywayz I hope to have fun here!

Hi Charge,
The Apocathy is a forum for Technical Support for any Total War game or any Total Warrior game. The section also contains a Technical Archive which contains several old Technical Support threads which may be useful to some.

The Story/PBeM section encompasses two forums - the Mead Hall and the Throne Room. The Mead Hall is mostly for posting Artwork, Stories and similar creative pieces, while the Throne Rome is for battle stories, AARs and the infamous PBeMs themselves. Sorry KnightnDay, but the patch is extremely large so it will take quite a while to download - especially on slower connections. Sorry.

However, if you wish, you could try using this alternative host (http://www.gamershell.com/download_19011.shtml). I'm not quite sure, but I think that the overall download speed is much faster - although the speed increase will only be noticeable on faster connections. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

About a month ago, my appetite, like that of a mad scientist thirsting for more power, grew insatiably when I found other, better-made mods online. Maybe just buying the original game (and give the designers their deserved funds) instead of using a cracked version might solve your problem.

May I suggest that you try using the "¬" key to open the console. It can usually be located directly below the "Esc" key. Unfortunately, on certain types of keyboards, the "~" and the "\" keys fail to operate correctly.

BTW, as Andres has said, any discussion regarding hacks is strictly prohibited on this forum. If you require any help in the future, please don't mention the hack in the process of asking - it shouldn't really effect the game's mechanics anyhow. Thanks!

Hey everbody, I'm new here so I don't realy knoww my way around the forum.

I have some questions.
First I prefer to play as The Italian States in the Early and I tend to have many problems with The Papacy. One minute they help fight the Byzantines out of Naples then they invade Tuscany. In Tuscany I have a Forretress so my defenses against the Pope are high, but it gets annoying when I am trying to take Russia from the Egyptians. Now I am fighting England, Spain, Egypt, The Pope, Hungary(took them over) and rebels in Cyprus. It seems that I am fighting wars on all fronts. The only Nations left are The Danes (Denmark), England (Western France and Scandanavia), Spain (Spanish Peninsula, N. Africa, Tolouse), The Papacy (Rome), Egypt (Egypt, Middle East, Parts Of Russia and Turkey), Sicilians (Malta), and my Italian Empire (Most of Italy, Eastern France, Germany, Poland-lost some to England, Hungary, All of Former Byzantine land in Europe):help:

If there are any seasoned veteran that can assist me in anyway it will be appreciated

I have been reading this site for years and have always been especially interested in the MODs. I have played BKBs supermod and Vikinghordes XL mod before moving on to the great XGM mod for Rome TW. Hi I believe you are looking for a new stable hand.

I just found out these games exists, they totally few under my radar when they first came out. I was going to just start with M2TW or RTW as they looked all flashy but being an old school kind of a guy I thought I'd start right at the beginning. Its something I normally do when I join a series of games late. I find it helps get a feel for the evolution of the game.

So I picked up a copy of STW, I'd read some bad things about MI so I've decided to give that a miss. What an incredible game, I started the SP game with Mori and have had a great time, I took Aki, Bitchu, Bingo and Tajima on the first turn, grabbed Nagato shortly after and am now making some progress taking Oda's lands. I'm just about to have my largest battle so far, should be around 2000 people involved (probably a small battle by your standards). I am was so impressed that I got MTW+VI too, but I don't want to install that until I've given Shogun the attention it deserves.

I'm from the times when there were barley any gfx in games, sure it can help to get immersed in a game if it looks amazingly real, but my check list has always started at gameplay and shogun has it in spades. As someone smarter than me once said "Good gfx does not a good game make"

I too just recently bought Shogun, (bought STW Gold which includes MI), and it's excellent, has the best atmosphere of the TW series,

The first one I bought was MTW / VI a few months ago, and since then got M2TW & RTW Anthology (as well as EB mod)

I've known about the total war series for quite some time, but for some reason, only fairly recently decided to get them all, def. glad I did.

Glad you're enjoying Shogun so much; it remains one of my favorite games of all time. In fact, one of the only titles that equal or surpasses it is MTW/VI. :2thumbsup:
