More mafia roles
Investigative roles: (Detective) - Send the game host a message at night saying which player to investigate. The game host then reveals information (such as alignment) about the targeted player.
Protective roles: (Doctor) - Send the game host a message at night saying which player to protect. If the targeted player is attacked at night, they survive due to medical attention.
Killing roles: (Vigilante) - Send the game host a message at night saying which player to murder. That player is removed from the list of living players.
Blocking roles: (Roleblocker) - Send the game host a message at night saying which player to block. That player cannot perform any actions at night.
Recruitment roles: (Recruiter) - Send the game host a message at night saying which player to recruit. That player then switches alignment to your side.
Redirecting roles: (Bus Driver) - Send the game host a message at night saying which two players to switch. Actions affecting one player will instead affect the other. This usually does not affect the ability of the two targeted players to act normally at night, but it does affect actions targeting those players.
Group roles: (Mason, Lover) - Masons begin the game knowing each other are innocent or on the same team. However, if this is not explicitly stated by the game host, one or more members of the mason group could be guilty. Lovers have the goal of surviving the game together, regardless of alignment otherwise. This trumps their official alignment.
Voting roles: (Double voter) - The player's vote may count extra, such as a tiebreaker, or could be counted twice.
Public roles: (Director) - The Director may be elected to such a position by the votes of other players. Once in power, they may be able to determine what happens in a tie (no lynch, double lynch, or pick which player dies). Player may also be able to determine method of death.
Handicap roles: (Drunk, Miller) - The player is saddled with a handicap. Drunk players cannot speak except in gibberish, but may vote. Millers are townies but appear guilty upon investigation.
Handicapper roles: (Silencer) - A Silencer can make someone unable to speak (or vote) the next day. Usually cannot target the same player twice in a row.
Post Mortem roles: (Coroner) - While the Coroner is alive, the alignment of the dead, or the method of their death, may be revealed.
Reanimation roles: (Reviver) - Send the game host a message at night saying which player to bring back from the dead, and return to active play.
Immune roles: (Godfather, Bulletproof) - Have special abilities negating the powers of other roles. Godfather roles do not read as guilty when scanned, and Bulletproof roles cannot be killed at night.
Special roles: (Village Idiot) - Has a goal of being lynched. This can cause other negative events for their team.
First Party roles: "TOWN" - Wins when all Mafia and Serial Killers are eliminated.
Second Party roles: "MAFIA" - Wins when all Townies and Serial Killers are eliminated. May not need to eliminate the Serial Killer.
Third Party roles: "NEUTRAL, JOKER, SERIAL KILLER, etc"
Neutral- Depending on the game, can win by surviving the game with the town, mafia, or serial killer. Often wants to be converted to a team.
Joker- Can only win by being lynched. Lynching the Joker usually causes everyone else to lose. For obvious reasons, this role is extremely unpopular with players.
Serial Killer- Usually must win by being the last one standing, by eliminating all townies and mafia alike, possibly even the neutrals. May have special win conditions.
Thief- Wins by collecting certain items from other players.
