Unit Description
Armoured Spearmen are the best spear unit available to all factions. They will not kill enemy troops at a high rate, but are capable of holding the line and surviving long enough to allow more lethal troops to manoeuvre and do their business. They take charges well, and can even pin Huscarles decently. Once available, they should form the backbone of any army (except maybe the Vikings).
