I think it seems like a really unlucky mafia, as the odds that everyone on that list would be revealed town or convince the entire town that they are town this early really makes it backfire on them rather than triggering a string of paranoia-fuelled mislynches.

Tentatively, if Crimson is a robot killer, then he randomly selected a target and if Barto proved not to have been a robot, it would have failed or Crimson would have gone insane/lost his power - or alternatively, it's the more traditional process of scanning the target for eligibility. But with the first option, why choose Barto either as a solo killer or as part of a larger anti-town team? And of course with the second option, it's useless speculation given that it excludes Crimson as the killer of Barto.

Crimson's been suspicious of khaan for a while now (my theory re: people on the "disruptive" player more likely to be mafia turned out to be right, I just went after the wrong person), so I'd put money on that being who killed him. As far as Visor, note that he can't talk after death. I'm guessing he got scanned by the mafia N1 and it got followed up with an N2 nightkill.

Not unheard of. Considering how role-heavy this game appears to be just going off of the ratio of people allowed and not allowed to talk after death, I'd say its a distinct possibility we're going up against one.

That's true but honestly didn't want to single out myself so early in game. My scan result was he was a treat to my kind, my kind is me or all robots.

I've seen a lot of Visor's game in the last couple of years, and feel like I've got pretty good at reading his flow.

Could be that I've been totally tilted here, but his process and vibe on D1 seemed very much in his scum zone, and I've seen nothing since that wouldn't fit there.
Could you compare it directly with a specific game?

Also now, Winston needs to acknowledge how bad almost all of his reads have been so far.


But seeing you play this way as your second game ever gives me great hope for the future generation of mafia players.

I remember a young Visorslash when he was about yea high in post count, and I sensed that he would become mightier than myself.

A course like that I wouldn't believe even from Pizza. It's just completely wasteful and nonsensical. It also leaves us hanging with the possibility of a new, unspecified, killer.

Also I'm not sure I understood what Reid's scan was actually. But he said something about a secondary skill and unlocking powers that made me think he wanted me to confirm whether or not his abilities on me did anything.

Even before the claim, yesterday's Riedquat wagon looked lazy and lynchbait-y. I'm especially not liking Winston dropping a placeholder vote on the lead wagon, that set off serious alarm bells at the time, but the rest of his posts are looking ok enough for me to not want to lynch him. My condolences to Winston as well.

I'm not seeing the stork wagon, not quite sure why Cuth and Stork seem to be focused disproportionately on one another as compared to the rest of the players, but I don't know if that's particularly telling for either of them. I tend to think tunneling is townier rather than wolfier, so I'll put my money down tentatively on town-town, that if one of the two but I'll double down on my assertion from yesterday that if one of them is scum, it's Cuthalion.

Monty's looking increasingly better and better, and now I find myself wanting to follow him onto Pizza mostly based on yesterday's eod. Am I remembering right that he voted at least once for all of the lead wagons towards eod? If so, it really seems like he didn't care at all who got lynched, which is one of the wolfiest wolf tells around in my opinion. So I'll start with a vote:Pizza today.

As explained in my previous post, no. That is how I roll, my actions potentially can unlock my own secondary ability. The vagueness of your own explanation about your lack of knowledge of how your ability worked adding the result of my scan made me think you were, as I said before, my exact opposite with the same mechanic in the abilities and due the richness in details from my own role I find it odd and disturbing the lack of knowledge you have from yours.

and fair enough on thinking i'm hiding part of my ability. The only time i was kinda lying was day one when i said "I am a vig". I DID say A vig on purpose which was true. But I did want the wolves to think I actually had a kill. or at least leave it open.

Let me ask you this. how else do you think an "unlocking mechanism" would work. If I KNEW how to unlock it, it wouldn't be much of an unlocking mechanism...unless you think it's "if I scan a person and find X, then I unlock ability A". But no, i don't have that. So I'm just doing things to try if that's what did it. That is why i stayed offwagon yesterday. So as of now here are my guesses...

I unlocked because

A) because i ended my vote on a wolf
B) because it was an even day
