The Bowyer is the second building in the archery line. Archers and Pictish Crossbows trained in a province with a Bowyer start with +1 valour. Combined with a Horse Farmer, the Boywer also allows the Picts to train Pictish Mounted Crossbows, a great unit for harassing heavily armoured foot units.
TBD - do Pictish Crossbows get the valour bonus?
