Unit Description
The Bombard is the first gunpowder artillery piece available to the Christians in the Medieval campaign. It can be used against buildings and enemy units alike. The accuracy and range are an improvement over non-gunpowder artillery, and it is good enough to take down gates and walls.

The Bombard projectile will bounce if it hits the ground. This can be used to skip through enemy formations, disrupting and killing many men.
As an early gunpowder cannon, the reliability of the Bombard is not the best. After 3 shots in a battle, there is a 10% chance that the Bombard will explode on every shot after.
