Unit Description
Chivalric Men-at-Arms are the main sword unit available to the Catholic factions once the High period begins. They are a solid, dependable sword unit, with decent stats and Elite status. Their large shield only counts half, but still helps protect them from both missiles and in melee. Chivalric Men-at-Arms are the successors to Feudal Men-at-Arms, filling the same role with better attack and armour.
Chivalric Men-at-Arms can be used as front line infantry or flankers, their main job is to kill the enemy, especially spear units. It is not advisable to allow them to be charged by cavalry, they do not have the strong formation and anti-cavalry bonuses that spear units get and will suffer accordingly.
